well, for me personally, Batman & Robin and Batman (66) are tied. i just dont get into the camp. i prefer the darker version of the character.
now, before i start getting the "you cant compare B&R to '66" posts, let me say this. yes you can. the 66 series and movie was meant to be the way it was. "camp". that is why it is more accepted, people know to expect the comedic aspect of it.
Batman and Robin was also meant to be "campy" and more light hearted. the problem with this movie is that it was so rushed they didnt have time to prepare the audience for what was about to hit them. i believe that, like was stated on the DVD, that if there was more time between Forever and B&R, it might not have been such a shock. we would have known what was coming.

Just kidding! Anyway, I do sort of agree with you, but no one would have accepted the camp Batman in favour of the dark Batman anyway, so there really was no point in making the movie!

I know, I used to think it was the best back in the day. Let's see, I was around 8 years old when it released on video and DVD. It's funny how you don't notice things when you're little :uhoh:.

My least favorite movie was the one where Mr. Freeze was going to freeze Gotham (why?) using the power of relentless bad puns and bizarre machinations that would make the Joker go, "Bzuh!?" |

Yeah, I will admit to liking B&R when it first came out. As I got older, I realised how crap it really was. I wanted to set fire to it, I really did. But the fire chief wouldn't give me a permit.

Yeah, I was about to toss my VHS in the trash, but local regulations are against discarding of a highly hazardous materials like that. The film already made me wanna cry, I don't need it putting me behind bars.
Back when Jay Leno interviewed Clooney, Schwarzeneggar and O'Donnel I remember him repeatedly saying that Batman & Robin was the best Batman film ever. I wonder if any grudging fanboys still hold him to that. :shy:
