BATMAN FOREVER!
Most likely its Batman Begins and Batman '89 too as well (most people dislike Batman Returns so maybe he's the same way)
But in the commentary of Legends of the Dark Knight, Timm says that BF is one of his favorite Batfilms which led top the creation of that episode.
Pretty shocking for us, huh?
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

Well, I wouldn't say most people dislike Batman Returns. In fact there's a lot of people that prefer it over any of the first four, or Schumacher's films particularly. I don't necessarily like it the best, I just don't think it's quite proper to say how the majority of the fans think. It's really not so clear-cut.
But to your point; that is interesting, assuming by "Legends of the Dark Knight " you mean the episode of TNBA. I wonder what exactly inspired him, it just seems like a natural thing to make an episode like that. I can't wait to get them BTAS DVDs and learn more.

I can understand perfectly why Bruce Timm would think that BF was one of the best of the original series films. Once again, I will point out that BF is the only film to deal with Batman's origin and it's also the only film that did Robin properly (B&R doesn't count).

Hmm, it may have been Dini who hates the last two. Makes sense, because they're all high-tech neon and he's Mr. "Dark Deco".
