"BATMAN BEGINS" producer Charles Roven has confirmed that actress Katie "Dawson's Creek" Holmes will return as love interest 'Rachel Dawes' in "Batman Begins 2", the upcoming sequel to the Warners feature based on DC Comics 'Batman' character.
Roven confirmed that Holmes' character will be further developed, as the Assistant DA character, who flirts with 'Bruce Wayne' in director Christopher "Memento" Nolan's film.
Roven said Michael Caine as butler 'Alfred', Gary Oldman as police detective 'Jim Gordon' and Christian Bale as 'Bruce Wayne/Batman', will all be back to reprise their roles per contract agreements.

Actually, in the comics, Catwoman is in love with Bats, while Selena is in love with Bruce.. she knows they are the same.

aeh not exactly great news but not the worst. never cared much for holmes in general, then all this crap with tom cruise made it worse lol. i was really hoping theyd have someone better for the sequel, but its not the end of the world. but heres hoping they also introduce another female as well liek elfwithagun suggested, be it catowman or someone else. personally id liek to see them bring talia into the mix which could then set up a return for ra's al ghul in the third one if its made.
speaking of returning characters, i notice that they didnt mention morgan freeman set to return as lucius fox. please tell me they just forgot to mention it!! i really hope he'll be a apart of future films!

Im not so sure she will remain Bruces love interest. Wont she be working very closely with Harvey Dent? I said this before I think that there is great potential for her character with the tragedy of Dent's fall into madness and the emergence of Two-Face somewhat like the way B:TAS handled his fiance. She could end up blaming Bruce for not saving him. I dont know something to think about. |

Ok then.
But maybe, since we hate super villian team ups like the old movie series, mayeb Joker kills off Rachel which sets off Batman's and Dent's mind into killing him. But both don't do it and put it aside. But when Joker scars Dent into Two Face, Dent goes after Joker.

it really would be cool to have two villains battling and now that batman 1 has been released we can finally have decent fight scenes, cuz in bb nolan wanted to keep things mysterious so he made the fight scenes super quick flash scenes

Wow, people's reations are funny, but I acted the same way when I heard about it on a Bale website!! I truly wish they could've done something about it I mean wasn't TOM and her appearance taking away the attention from The Main part of show BATMAN's(BALE's) publicity was ruined by TomKat's wackiness!! Anyways I really think they should've put A SELINA(CATWOMAN) in the movie instead of bringing the person who didn't really have that big of feelings towards BRUCEY!!:no: |
