BB
was a good movie, do a find it as good as Batman '89 no. Burton's Batman was one of the best Batman films of all, up there with ROTJ and MOTP. Not saying it all around stinks but I think they showed too much of Batman out of the cowl and not enough in.
The Scarecrow was good villain and battle with Batman would have been good. I think Ras was too much of the focus.
Probably the best parts in my opinion are the fight in the subway and the ending with Gordon and Batman and him showing the Joker card...
That's my thoughts on Batman Begins..........

First, this should go in the "Past Batman Films" section.
My opinion on Begins is that it kicks Burton's movies' asses! I do like action, but in the end I'm more of a character guy; and my biggest problem with the Bruton movies (don't get me wrong, I love the Burton movies) is they really didn't do much with Batman's character; the first movie showed him entirley from an outside perspective, and Returns barely even explored his character. Begins was all about exploring Batman's character; and for me that's the most fundimental aspect to a good Batman story.
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!

Yea I mean I think this new franchise that Nolan is giving us is really for us comic book geeks and freaks. I however do think Burtons movies show a great mainstream batman, like when the rest of the world saw Batman Begins they learned new things that were actually taken from the comics that they couldnt have known from the burton movies. And you have to remember the ket word in the movie is "Begins", I already knew we might probly not see him in the outfit too much. I forgot where I read it from but before the movie came out it said we wouldnt see him in the full complete suit until one hour in the movie. It wasnt just about batman it was also about the man behind the mask. I guess if you`re looking for the non stop constant action by a man in a bat suit you wouldnt like this movie too much as compared to Burtons....well Batman has now begun as we all saw lol, we should now be seeing him in the outfit more often in the next movies

The next movie I think will be better in my opinion. Because for one reason Joker is going to be in it! A good solid villain unlike Ras....BAH!

Well yea joker is his archnemesis we all know but that doesnt make Ras any less dangerous. I mean Batman even said it himself that he was much more dangerous and his character is what fit best into telling the story in begins. Joker is the exact opposite for everything batman stands for, most likely the most psychopathic and insane out of all bat villains so no doubt we all wanna see this...I think we`re ALL in high anticipation

what!? how could you like the burton flicks more than BB? BB showed Batman's inner demons and him learning to cope with his problems in life. It finally gave us that raw animalistic side of Batman that we had been longing for so long. I've never actually been a fan of the burton movies to be honest though. First off i never liked keaton as batman, and seeing him without the cowl made me want to cringe as I never thought his face came near to how i think batman should really look.

hey everyone has different opinions and the mind is attracted to whatever it finds more interesting...so we shouldnt be too harsh on anyones perspectives or preferances. Btw I forgot to say that I do hand it to Burton for coming that close to batman without ever really reading the comic books

I do, have and always will love the Burton Batman movies. However, Batman Begins was "REAL". Everything was plausible and explained. It wasn't "cartoony" or surreal.
Nolan will again bring that realism to The Dark Knight, making it more believable that Batman can and does exist.

I not only liked Batman Begins, I LOVED it!!!!!
It is my favorite Batman movie!
I think the Burton and J.S. films aren't as good as Nolan's (although we have only seen one so far!
I think Bale is better than Keaton! I didn't like Keaton too much. He didn't make a very good Batman OR Bruce Wayne. Bale is much better!
