I just got BF SE and I saw the deleted scenes. Now, as good as it is finally to get to see it, theres some things that don't make it 100%.....approved. One is that you hear Joel's directing the actors or like Val saying the same thing twice in two different shots; the real one and the one as they captured Chris' reaction. Or even shots like the Bat flying where it looks goofy and not finished.
Could a De-Classfied or even a recut of BF still be made with the deleted scenes I would say at or close to 75% completed?
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

I think they should personally. After seeing the deleted scenes (especially the Arkham and batcave scenes), I was saying to myself, WHY IN THE WORLD DID THEY NOT PUT CERTAIN SCENES IN THE THEATRICAL CUT. |

I don't think a new cut would save the movie, but they could certainly make it more palatable. As it is, I can't get through it in one sitting. The positive aspects are far, far outweighed by the negatives. I really don't see the reinsertion of a few deleted scenes being enough to salvage it. If it's ever released, though, I'll certainly be willing to give it a shot.

I saw the film, twice. And I still like it. I can handle it. And you'll gotta believe and agree with me that BF is far better than B&R and shouldn't be consdiered as one movie.

I can't wait to see those deleted scenes! I haven't gotten the box set yet and by the looks of things, I'm probably going to have to get it for Christmas! |

Hmm, with cg film and other effects, you could do what lucas did with star wars. Even to the point of adding scenes (especially ones not with the main charecters, like the childhood sequences)
More of a backround on two-face, or maybe a additional scne where it actually shows the harvey dent in him. (Probably impossible to do)
It would make the movie much more dark. If you could go back, what scenes would you add (If you couldn't delete any) |
