I didn't know where to put this but this topic seem to fit.
So, hear me out:
Since theres a possible Batman/Superman movie in the planning stages, I thought of this:
Now, in Superman Returns; Superman returns to earth after a seven (sometimes I hear six) year absence. In Batman Begins; Alfred says to Bruce after he returns to Gotham to start his Batman carear that he's been gone for seven years.
What if on the year Superman disappeared, Bruce didn't think of being a hero But once he heard about Superman being gone, he felt all was lost. Add that to Joe Chill being released, he felt the revenge he had before and wanted to kill Chill.
Then enter Bruce coming home for the hearings in the movie.
It would be interesting. If that makes sense, then Superman is added to the list of Falcone, Rachel, and Ducard/Ra's Al Ghul creating Bruce into Batman. Which is true to the comics, Superman "creating" Batman.
Plus, if this idea influences WB, and a B/S film IS made. This would add to our main heroes as a backstory as such and more of the reason why Batman isn't "up to terms" with Superman.
Thoughts?

Well, I was always under the impression, that Batman was one of the few superheroes that Superman didn't inspire. He hated Superman when they first met.
In the shadows I saw my destiny...
I would seek justice...
I would have my revenge...

in the batman/superman comics, theyre like brothers. its sorta weird, but i guess its pretty cool. theyre the best team ever, but i dont understand how they get along so well in the batman/superman comics.

Yeah but there always at odds with each other. And that creates friction. And if this was used, then it would eb no different from the Bruce/Ra's relationship in BB. BB added the father and son with Bruce and Ra's and leads to rejection. That added another level to their history.
My idea on Supes from SR and BB's Batman would be similar.

Nah I think that seven year thing isn`t good (no offense) I mean thats also just my opinion. Maybe if they actually implied something in Batman Begins about it then I`d be ok with it, my problem is that if they did that it would be something that just came out of nowhere and we should have been informed about it before...and besides Superman protects mainly metropolis usually and not gotham....And yes Superman and Batman are like brothers because they do often conflict and disagree with eachother because they use different methods/tactics but they both believe in Justice and are on the same side of the law so...ITS ALL GOOD! LOL
