This sucker's like 15 pages long! It's an in-depth, shot by shot slating of Batman & Robin.

This is hilarious! I'm only on page 3 and I know I'm going to be reading this for a few days.
Marge: Homer, I've got someone here who can help!
Homer: Batman?
Marge: No, a scientist!
Homer: Batman's a scientist.
Marge: It's not BATMAN!! |

"I don't know who made Arnie say this line, but I hope this person is homeless now."
That line had me in stitches.

Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone). Real name: Barbara Wilson. Pointlessly changed from the comics to be Alfred's niece here. Proof that a weight problem is no obstacle to becoming a superhero.
OMG!! That is awful...and yet so funny! |

"I would say that by this point, the Batman franchise had been reduced to the level of the campy 60's Adam West TV series, but that would be an insult to Adam West."
Owww! That's a detailed way of saying it really really sucked. |

actually, you can go into an indepth critisizm about any movie and bring down the acting, writing, sets, score, wardrobe, directing, everything. What I find to be a bit funny is, for this to be "the worst Batman movie ever made", it sure is discussed alot on many forums. Negative or not, its still a topic of discussion, I think they accomplished something there by doing that. As a matter of fact, I can honestly say that when I speak to poeple about the Batman movies, most cant remember the difference between 89 and Returns, and some even get a bit confused with Forever, but just about everyone knows B&R. |

Yeah, it certainly left its mark. Some people say it's better to leave a big impression, good or bad, than to make little impact at all, but I'm not sure I agree. A lot of uneducated people (like my relatives, for instance) may take Batman & Robin as the standard Batman movie simply because they remember it for big names like Clooney and Schwarzenegger and, therefore, treat Batman like a silly, child-oriented franchise. It certainly had some of those '60s aspects that they grew up knowing as the definition of the Caped Crusader, so I really don't think Batman & Robin did much to benefit the character other than proving as a disaster and enforcing an entire refocus - a refocus which many people haven't seen and may never.

Me and my brother read this review last year, and we just keep laughing and laughing at all the jokes and stuff. Very funny stuff, and most if it probably true to some degree(Although we both disagree with Silverstone being Fat during the time of the movie, well except for that part where she's in the Batcave talking to her computer screen Uncle Alfred, but still a very funny joke about her suppose weight problems at the time). I've always given Batman And Robin a 2/5(Well, after I saw that movie on T.V. back in 2000), and in terms of a Batman movie, it's the worst(However, I did probably like a few sences, and maybe a very few good things about it, which is why I gave it a 2).
The only thing this movie is really good for any Batman fan is a guide on what not to do in a Batman movie, as well as in any other Batman story(Weither it's a cartoon, T.V., etc). Of course, the review could be seen as a text verion of "A Guide On What Not To Do In A Batman Movie: Using Batman And Robin As An Example". Quite possiblity my favourite line/paragraph form the review(Page 12, last paragraph):
Robin (not Quivers) and Batgirl step out on their Fortress of Solitude ice shelf just in time to see the telescope hurtling right at the camera. Batgirl asks what they should do now. "Pray," Robin says. No, don't bother. I've been doing it for the last ninety minutes, and trust me, it doesn't work.
