Even though just a short film, pound for pound this is by far the BEST Batman movie EVER!!

Now, I did like "Batman Begins" don't get me wrong.. And all in all Begins is a much greater movie, but for PURE heart pumping comic book action!!!

You can't beat DEAD END!!

I hear rumors the Sandy Collora will be doing a full legth feature of "Shazam" with Clark Bartram who played batmen in Dead End...

I hope, I hope, I hope!!!

Something tells me DE was a one off and you need to make the ending up for yourself.

I just saw DE today and i liked what i saw even if Alien and Predator arn't my fav villians for Batman.

Good to see The Joker in there.

I prefer BB

Gothic Riddler

Am I the only one who doesn't absolutely praise and adore this movie?

For a fan-film it's pretty decent, and the camerawork is superb, I'll give it that. But Clark Bartram is an atrocious Batman. He just looks like a short stocky guy scuttling around the screen spitting everywhere (what was up with that?). I remember hearing that Collora chose Bartram in part because of his physique. This just proves that spandex doesn't look cool in movies. Clark Bartram doesn't look muscular, he looks chubby.

The make-up for the Joker was brilliant, but the actor wasn't. He modelled his Joker entirely off of Mark Hamill's.

I haven't seen this yet. I'll try and watch it somewhere with DSL or something. My brother said it's really cool for a 10 minute movie. We love Predator. :shy:

I think I know what you mean. Even if he is muscular, you can't really see much tone (buldging of the biceps, abs, etc.) through a fabric suit. Alex Ross's Batman is a little like that too, beings he's based off of actual photos.

Gothamite:

Those of us who have been in real life fights understand the spitting!

Bartram is 6' 2" 225lbs. of SOLID muscle!

He is Bat Enough! The dude who played Predator was 6"10"
That may be why he appears short. But chubby.. No friggin way dude! Did you see the making of Dead End?? That dude is ripped! I like the comparison to the Alex Ross Batman, Caleson!

I agree about Batman Begins, I really do. As for the suit.. It was cool in BB, but I get tired of Batmen with stiff necks!! BB is an awsome movie.. The best Batman "Full Length" Movie ever made to date..

But POUND for POUND "Dead End" RULZ!

Like how a 25lb. Wolverine can hold it's own against a 1,500lb Grizzley Bear, if you get my meaning. You have to respect the Wolverine, but the Grizzley Bear has alot more to him... Get me??

The best way to watch it and the only way to REALLY appreciete how good Dead End was done, is on the DVD (from Sandy Collora's e-bay listing) and pump up that volume and sub-woofer!! If you get one from him, the quality is just as good as any store bought DVD. You can't really understand me, if all you are doing is watching it in some little window on your computer.

If they greenlight the Shazam Movie, Bartram is going to be a much better Captain Marvel than the skinny little pretty boy that they picked to play Supes.. He looks more like Superboy! I am sure it will be good, but I think that they could have picked someone better.

You give Collora a nice budget and card Blanch and see what kind of movie he'll make!! I know it will kick butt!!

Dude, click on my website and there is a banner for Dead End with no crap involved in downloading it. There are some really cool Star Wars shorts too on there.

Also Check out Sandy Collora's tribute Fan-Trailer called "Worlds Finest"
That is what a REAL Superman should look like!!

Yeah Clark Bartram is one diesel jacked guy! and so is that dude whp played Superman in the other fan film and yes they really are professional body builders. For a fan movie I think thats the way it should be- to take a guy so ripped and put him in a spandex costume to make it look like the image was taken `literally` out of the comic books but offcourse in Batman Begins or somethin lets stay with the way they`ve been doing the suit

"A Lonley Place For Dying" NICE!!!

One of my top 10 TPB's.

I have got to read "HUSH", I haven't yet.. I was going to buy it for myself this Christmas, but I bought the DC Encyclopedia instead.. I have been wanting that for a while!!

I like the concept of the suit being Kevlar and all that, but it still looks too cumbersome to me. The fighting scenes were cool in BB, but you can tell that they made them very jumpy to avoid seeing it too well.. I mean it does the trick, but compared to the fight scene in Dead End they don't really match up in my mind. But again,, I love BB.. Heck i even love the first 4 (For different reasons), but I just really LOVE Dead End.. I can not stress the point of watching the DVD on your entertainment system.. Man it just ROCKS!! Especially when Batman first gets knocked down by Predator and uses text book Jet Kundo on his knees.. Than picks up that piece if 2" gavenized pipe and WHAM, WHAMM WHAMMM: one to the knee, one to the arm and one to the head.. Brilliant!! It was like a REAL fight!! Than that shakes Predator up a bit and he pulls his blade and Batman drops the pipe and pulls out a Batarang Blade.. AWESOME!!

I am a pretty big Alien Vs. Predator buff too, so this was like a dream for me.. I know there are alot of Batfans that don't like crossovers, but I am NOT one of them!!! I LOVE Batman Vs. Predator I, II & III alot. I am a big predator Movie fan too.. I first saw this movie on E-bay and bought it. Little did I know that I bought it straight from Sandy's ebay auction.. I didn't even know the Predator was in it, until I watched it.. I was floored!!! The aucton only said some little thing about some kind of sneak preview of Alien vs. Predator,,, I thought it was a special feature.. I was in awe when I first saw this.. And I still get juiced every time I see it..

Like I said,, I LOVE BB.. But POUND for POUND!! Dead End is my favorite!

BUT YOU HAVE TO SEE IT ON YOUR TV IN HIGH QUALITY!!

I watched it on my buddy's Plasma TV once and it was clear like cryatal!!

OK, I am a geek.. But, I converted to geekdome from being a JOCK, so don't try me!! I been in a REAL fight or two!! LOL :bigeek: :p:rolleyes::embarrassed::confused::uhoh::sleepw:

Hm. I can't seem to find a Sandy Collora eBay seller. I would like to get this on DVD, and I'm seeing a couple auctions here and there for it.

I know that he's ripped, I've seen pics of him without the top on and its quite clear that he has quite a prominent form, but it doesn't show through the spandex suit. It ends up just making him look fat. Even in your avatar his chest looks like a pot belly.

And by the way, I have been in real life fights, and there was no spitting!
