I was gonna pass on Bane, but I showed these pics to my nephew, and he went bat crazy over it! So, I'll probably pick one up for him.

The first waves of these are out now. I picked up two of Knight Shadow Batman and one each, Camo Bane, Batgirl and Two Face at Toys R Us of all places. I think it’s the first time TRU beat Wal-Mart at putting out new figures. Only one of the two TRU's I hit today had all the figures, the second store only had a couple Knight Shadow Batman figures on he pegs.
If we have them here, then you should have them where you are as we almost always get stuff last.
Another re-release of Batman (looks like wave 1) and re-release of Mr. Freeze are due in June 2007 and two new figures Clayface and Man-Bat are due out in July 2007.
It looked like only one, maybe two cases were just put out. I saw two of Bane, about six Knight Shadow Batman and one each Two-Face and Batgirl.
Happy Hunting!

We really don't know what is in each series. When I asked Mattel, they sid they were still working on it, whatever that means.

Good Point.
Look at this last Superman wave. Black Suit Superman was all but impossible to find. I found only one in a Wal-Mart a couple days ago. Cyborg Superman was shown not on the Card Back with the others, but only on the side of the Bubble Insert and I have never seen one of them.
The black and white Supergirl was a reissue from a previous wave. Still she was hard to find, I passed on her the few times I saw one. The rest Darkseid, Bizarro, Mongul and Kal-El were relatively easy to find at Wal-Mart mostly.
The wave before that the blue and red Supergirl (with the different head) was nearly impossible to find, I only saw the one I got, but the rest were reissues or new figures and were easy enough to find, again at Wal-Mart.
Target get these usually just after Wal-Mart does, but they don’t seem to order as much as Wal-Mart does as I always see fewer figures. Toys R Us on the other hand seems to get these figures last. I saw wave 3 figures on the pegs there just a couple weeks ago or so. I was really surprised to see the new figures there first, although I was at the TRU that is considered the number one store in our county.

Have these figures come out at Walmart or Target yet? I went a couple days ago and the still didn't have them. Walmart is usually the first to get them.
What happened to the Catwoman and Joker figures?

These have been showing up at different places, but, just with the rest, who knows when they will show up at your Wal-Mart, or mine.. or anywhere..

So far down here I’ve only seen these in Toys R Us. Perhaps TRU got a deal to get these first since Wal-Mart and Target usually get all the others first. TRU has some 12” exclusive figures too so maybe it was part of a lager deal.
Catwoman and The Joker are not listed on the Card Back, so I expect them in the next wave. I hope we get at least two Batman waves back to back to make up for having three Superman waves one right after the other.

I love Sperman, but I am sort of getting sick of all the superman waves. How many times can they make Superman and Supergirl figures. Batman has a lot of characters they can still do. I really want to see a Nightwing figure!!!

It is possible that since Mattel reused/updated figures from the previous comic style figures (Bat Signal Batman, Battle Board Robin, Mr. Freeze, Bane and Killer Croc) that they will reuse either Sling Strike Nightwing or Battle Armor Nightwing for the DCSH line, but I have not seen any information to confirm that.

If Mattel reads the fan forums, and I suspect that they do, they already know what the collectors want.
1). Better Case Ratios
2). More Villains
3). No Batman in Technicolor Batsuits
However, Mattel does not listen to the fanboys, because it’s the buyers at Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R Us and other store chains that often dictate what gets bought.
For DCSH to be successful it needs to copy what Marvel Legends did. Have a great variety of figures and not just another Batman or Superman with other repaints and a couple new figures in the mix.
The Big Question is WILL they do that or will they do what they done before?

there arn't anymore technicolor batmen. the lastest one is the line's first batman variant, and it looks pretty damn swank, and could easily fit in the comics. there are also more villains, but the case ratio problems mean most people may not find them. however, with the license extension, i think mattel will get their act together to overcome that hurdle. |

There are alot of changes on the horizen, alot of those we will hear about at Comic Con.
One change, the one I said would not make alot of people happy.. Man-Bat WILL NOT be offered in the regular line. He is on the card back, but Mattel has decided that he will ONLY be a con exclusive.
Personally, I'm ticked at this. First the JLU 3 pack and now Manbat. Granted, I wanted the brown version.. but, I am hearing that the brown version is the chase figure.

They're copying Marvel Legends, one of the most succesful action figure series of all time; and yet they refuse to mimic one of it's biggest stregths, the variety of the characters.
They talk to the fans, but they've ignored all of our recommendations.
And they've already made it almost impossible to get the popular figures; so they make their most highly anticipate figure an exclusive to an event only a fraction of us will be able to attend...
I'm reminded of a comercial campaign where a business is run by monkeys.
They had better give us some damn good anouncments at SDCC.
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!

I received word yesterday. Personally, I think it's crap. I mean, most people who get those exclusives sell them on Ebay, so how it that fair to the collectors?
I can understand having exclusives for cons, but make it like it was going to be.. the white man-bat for an exclusive, the brown for retail.
Now thats not to say we won't ever get it.. but only time will tell.

According to Wizard # 190 (Page 30) there will be TWO Man-Bat figures at SDCC. One will be the albino version and the other mid-transformation. Each will be $25 each and come in electronic packaging. The figure is not electronic, but the box lights up and has sound (Yippee).
Yes, it sucks that 99% of these sold at the cons go to eBay scalpers. The only thing I can say is WAIT. You can find past SDCC exclusives fairly cheap on eBay now, so wait until next year to try and get this figure. I picked up a Battle Damaged Batman Unmasked a year or so later and paid nowhere near the outrageous prices they wanted for this ultra rare figure just after SDCC.
Still it’s too bad that Mattel will not release a brown version of Man-Bat with the regular line up. However, look at what they did with Catwoman in The Batman line. It was an SDCC exclusive, but showed up in TRU four packs in a different color the following year. Maybe, there will be an exclusive Batman vs. Man-Bat set one of the retailers will get.
