I loved the thing; but yeah, they came out with a green one like a year latter and I wished I'd had that one instead , but that' just cause green was my favorite colour.

Well, the yellow one I had was great because it had a cool sculpt...

It occures to me the only brightly coloured Batman I realized was ugly when when I was a kid was this one:

"Though it's only been a week since Heath Ledger was permanently laid to rest, Warner Bros. is slowly bringing back its marketing campaign for The Dark Knight. Mattel has revealed images of its Ledger-inspired Joker dolls; the first of which will retail at $7.99 and features a rocket launcher that can be placed in the Joker's hand. The second doll (pictured to the right) is a slightly larger, more detailed version created by action-figure designers the Four Horsemen. It will retail at $10.99"

Why are they calling it a doll?
Here's a pic of the smaller scale figure. A word of warning, if you have any respect for Heath Ledger's portrayal of Joker you are going to be seriously dissapointed by this figure:

yeah, not a fan of that one. But you have to take into acount that the smaller one is marketed more towards kids then the big one. I like the big one. But i do agree the smaller one is no where near what i thought it was going to be.

This is ecaxtly what I've been complaining about. If you have somehting in a movie that can't be marketed to 6-9 year-olds, DON'T MARKET THE MOVIE TO 6-9 YEAR-OLDS!!! Because if the kids get a TDK figure they're gonna want to go to the movie, and in the end they'll be scared by Joker anyway.

I hope DC do a 13" doll like the Takara did in BB.
Now i hope Takara does a Joker since they make toys geared for collectors

Ok Chris, I don't know what WB's stand is on this so take the link down if you think it's not good, but I think our patrons have the right to know about this.
For those of you who don't know, a very blurry picture of the Two-face Hyper Figure has surfaced, so this is very spoilerish. However, the blurriness of it makes it less a total spoiler and more a vague look of what Two-face will look like in the movie. But still, those of you avoiding spoilers might not want to look at it.

Couldnt agree more, i think the movie is a movie worth the rateing PG-13 (assumeing it will be PG-13) ya know what i mean, some movies that got a PG-13 rateing seem like it got over rated and should be PG

I like the two different scale The Joker figures.

What bothered me was seeing Batman Begins Power Tek figures like Electro Strike Batman as well as others among the assortment of figures.
What is Deathstroke The Terminator and Firefly doing in this series?

Well, TDK only has two villians, and since those to aren't child friendly enough to warrent a million figures they need to fill the gap by taking characters from the comics and "Nolanizing" them. I do believe Nolan aproved the characters' designs though.
As far as the Hyper Figures, I recall websites saying there would be four figures, but we've got two Batman (the TDK armour one and the crazy ass Begins armor one with the Scarecrow nightmare head), the Joker, Joker's goon, and Two-face... That's five, closer to the original statement of 6 figures.
Speaking of crazy ass Begins Batman, I sure hope that head is interchangable with an actual cowl head..
