I just purchased a Batman: The Dark Knight Collection Batmobile MIB for a reasonable price about a hundred doillars plus shipping the box was a bit beat up and I was going to open it up and display no there was no tape on the box and the seller claimed he never opened it so I was prepared for the worst. The car was in excellent shape with the unused label sheet which was in the cockpit, the fins, caps, and missile, all in a sealed baggie the instruction sheet and the kenner action toy guide all present I was on top of the world I neatly placed each label on their correct places in the cockpit assembled it but when I put the missle in it would not budge the missle was wapped or something and would not go in the shaft (see pic below) NNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I love the car and will not send it back I just need a new missle so is there any of you who have had the same problem and thought you were alone well your not. If there is any of you who have a spare missile I'll take it off your hands for you gladly

I recently got the Camo Attack version of this (ugly paint scheme, but half the price), but I took it apart to spray paint the body a much more appropriate all black color scheme. The turbine missle (which is a pretty key part of the look of the car) is a pretty simple mechanism. If you are pretty good at putting things back together, take it apart and see if you can make it work out, or just figure out a way to fit it into the car and be non-functional.
If you need some help, take some pics and post some questions, I messed around with taking mine apart several times, so I may be able to give you a hand.
my missile's spring was placed too far forward towards the T opening off the track so when inserted in the launcher it would not push the spring back. The spring's placement also pushed and bent the plastic a bit which is what I thought the problem was so I carefully took apart the missle (I broke a prong) placed the spring in it's correct position on the track and presto! it slides easily into the launcher and fires perfectly almost 20 inches so thanks to all of you who emailed me with your tips espciallly Darknight
