Well I figured I'd come to the figure genius' of Batman: YTB to see if they can help me out. I was trying to re-pose my Harley Quinn HUSH figure, because I just got my new DC Direct Birds of Prey Figures and something horrible happened! Harley fractured her arm! And by fracture I mean her arm broke at the elbow, her forearm and the other part are in two separate pieces.

Now I come to you asking for your advice. I could simply just GLUE the piece back on but then she can't bend her arm. So I was wondering if there was another solution to this problem. Please say there is! Please!

I’ve never had a DCD figure break on me, so it’s hard to say. Elbows are usually a Pin Joint. One part of the arm has a Pin and the other two Holes opposite each other that the Pin slips into.

If it just snapped out it may snap back in and maybe all you need to do is heat the elbow with a blow dryer to make it easier to bend it so you can get in back in.

If it’s a break that not at the joint but on the arm part itself you should be able to glue it back with just a drop of Super Glue.

Post a picture and lets take a look.

A Photo would definitely help, but if I remember Harley's arms correctly I can't be too optimistic about a straight glue job. You might be able to drill & pin the pieces back together to retain some of the movement, though. If that does work, you may even make the parts a bit stronger than they were originally.

The exact same thing happened to my Hush Harley's right arm. Simply glueing the pin back together didn't help, as it was too weak to support the forearm. I always keep it in the exact same pose, so I just glued it back together in that pose. I don't think I'll ever have her posed differently, so it wasn't worth the trouble to me to replace the joint.
