There?s a new Toy?s R Us Exclusive The Batman four pack on the shelves. It has four previously figures, Knight Strike Batman, The Penguin, Midnight Ninja Batman and Catwoman which has an exclusive purple catsuit and a clear Lion Idol.
While that?s a nice nod to the classic purple outfit that Catwoman is known for it was something on the back of the box that caught my eye. All of the EXP Card Back and Box Backs have a ?Cut Out Card? of other figures and vehicles in the line up. This one was no different except that a little square brown piece of tape was placed over one of the figures in the lineup. It looks like a factory job, because one the color of the tape is close to the background color and two, no retailer is going to put the tape on.
So who was covered? Batgirl. Which begs the question why? Batgirl has already been on the pegs, albeit in very short supply. Six of the other uncovered figures are already out, (Riddler, Clayface and all four of the 9? boxed Batman figures) but there was also Batbot which I have not seen before listed as an EXP figure.
Batbot is probably a re-release of Batman To Batbot which was The Batman Series 4 Deluxe figure, and not seen on the pegs this far south for some reason. It looks to be a different color, but it?s hard to tell from a picture so small.
