I have a question regarding a The Batman figure from the ShadowTek line. For the past few months, everytime I see Twin Blasters Batman figure, I keep thinking about how it sort of resembles The Batbot(Or at least a modified verison of it), especially when the head is pushed down. I was wondering if this figure would actually be a good subsitute for a The Batman Batbot figure that's based on how it looks in the show? As well, since this figure is bigger than the other The Batman 5.5" figures, could it actually be in scale compared to the other 2 Batbot toys? And I'm not 100% sure, but I could of swore that sometime last year, there were rumors that Mattel was going to make a more inscale Batbot along with a more inscale Bane. Is this the more inscale Batbot that the rumours could of been talking about?
Keep in mind that I've only been able to see about 2-3 epsiodes of this show, so I'm not 100% sure on what The Batbot looks like in the show. As well, I remembered that the 1st Batbot toy wasn't based on what it look like on the show, but the 2nd one(Which if I recalled, never had a North America release) did. Here are 2 links from this website for pictures of Twin Blaster Batman, with the 1st in it's packaging, and the 2nd a prototype photo which includes the head being pushed down:
Twin Blasters Batman is not quite in scale as a Bat Bot as it looks smaller. It would be cool if Mattel did make an in scale Bat Bot to go with the other figures.
Twin Blasters Batman is also one of the few Batman figures that will not stand on his own, at least not with that Twin Blasters pack on his back. Making thing worse is the bottom of the boots don’t have peg holes for stands. So if you want to display him you will need to prop him up against a wall.
