I wonder if the batcycle out of the Tumbler is an indicator of its origins.
Also, the Batcycle toy (alone) has the new one on the box and the "Dodge Tomahawk" based on IN the box.

Well, it is called the Batpod, so perhaps it's an escape pod.
And the Batcycle there is funny, cause I was just looking up the Begins toys to see how far off they were with how they thought a Nolan Batcycle would be, so it was obvious that this one was just repackaged when I saw it lol.
All in all I'm dissapointed at the reuse of Begins sculpts. Why the hell do they have ninja Bruce coming with a sports car? And the fwoosh link shows just how epically disporportionate the 6inch Batman's head really is. But the Joker goon is awesome, so I'm anxious to see Joker's sculpt.

In our Ask Mattel they said that they were going to reuse some Batman Begins figures. As far as the in package shots, some of them look like mock ups with BB figures in place of TDK figures.
Personally I think they’ve gone too far with the Batsuit. It’s over sculpted and looks like it’s too much.

Woo hoo! There are some that actually look good! In the Legions of Gotham thread, I like the Hyper figures but how tall are they supposed to be? And from the 5.5 inch, I like the last one where he's all black. I just wish it was matte back.
Now I'm excited. |

The Hyper Figures are 6" tall; just like DCSH. Now that I've seen the shoulder pads from a different angle they look pretty sweet, and I personally think the suit is well sculpted. Now if they could just make the head perportionate to the body and align the belt right it would look great.

That's a neat idea, but I don't think it is mechanicaly possible. It it was the Batmobile would be left with no front wheels.

It was rumored that the Batpod would in fact come out of the Batmobile. It has since been said that it is not part of it. But only time will tell!

The Hyper Batman is the best one imo.
The Batpod looks like it could come out the Batmobile.... That would be sweet. Maybe the front wheel is hidden from the inside? |

SSH! has some more images of TDK toys, the Hyper figures we saw on Fwoosh, a better look at the Tumbler & Batpod, and LEGO kits. While the LEGOs carry the TDK logo (and sport a nice drawing of Bats' new costume on it) they are still using the comic styled LEGO guys; So it looks to be more "inspired by" then "based on".

Still, the nerd in me wants that LEGO Tumbler lol.

Did anyone else think that the variants look like they belong more to The Batman line than the Dark Knight? They're pretty bright and loud colors. |

Well, that yellow one maybe, but other than that they mostly used black, grey, gold and red... That's pretty subtle for a Batman action figure.... I mean at least he's not lime green.
But then again, they do seem a lot louder than Begins' line. So I guess you're right.

I just wish that the multii-colored Batman action figures
would have stopped with Hasbro...
I know that this is geared towards younger kids, but
what will come out next in the assortments???
A Food Network Chef Batman with real batcave stove
and Batcave cooking pans...
The yellow action figure should be renamed:
Another Dumb Outfit Batman...
