Late nite for me...
Just got back from my brother's house to give him his
Bat 66 and boy did his jaw drop...
He wanted to open it; but I stopped him and showed him
my open one...
This looks a hell of alot better in person
then in a picture...

I found these at around 10:30 a.m. ...
This morning I went to two Wal-marts and
one Walgreens...I was going to hit another three K-Marts,
another three Wal-greens, two Jewel Food stores and
one Dominick's food store...
And this just going home...embarrassed
This saved me a lot of foot work today...:p

I finally found a 66 Batmobile today at Target. I grabbed it so fast I did not notice until I got home that the rear wheel (wheels?), are different from the front. They seem to be wider and the "spokes"are very thin. What have I got here, a error or a variation? Kindda looks like crap...

Congrats on finding one before the scalpers!

Sounds like you got an error car...standard 5-spokes on the front, and "Faster than Ever" 5-spokes on the rear. Wheel mix-ups aren't common, but they do happen.

Assuming you have not succumbed to eBay and still want to find these at retail you should check out the Hot Wheels 10 Packs. I’ve seen the 1966 TV Batmobile in these 10 Packs at a few different stores recently.

Just picked up two more at a toy show yesterday...
I have been finding the little Bats at the Target
stores in the ten packs...I pass them up...

My goal is to still get the 100 total...
The only problem is that I keep giving them away
to other Bat-chums...

I had 30 and now i'm down to 20...confused

I was just curious, were you going to get any (or already have) the SDCC HotWheelsCollectors.com version? I just got two of them of eBay and they are smoking hot! Super detailed on the paint inside and out.

Oh the two I have are “No Mesh” grilles. I wonder is there a variant of this with mesh?

The mesh or no mesh question is still a
urban legend...I have seen one pass my hands...
I gave it away awhile ago to a fellow Bat-chume...
I have seen that under the smooth grill there is a
mesh grill... I'm lost to this and someday the truth
from HotWheels will be out...

As for the SDCC Batmobile...

HELL HEY I WANT ONE!!!yes

I will have to wait for a while, because of the
Wizard World Con here this coming weekend...
Glad to see you have them and it drive us other
Bros. of the Bat nuts...Smile

I still have a feeling that next year there will be
a treasure hunt 66 in the series...
