Thank you, BAB. The news sites I go to haven't even mentioned these. Those photos are a bit strange considering how they were obviously cropped up quickly and the boxes don't include titles of what they're actually called. Still cool to see though. Looks like the Bat-Tank set includes Riddler and Bane while the Batcopter includes Scarecrow.
Batman Begins sets would be somewhat late in the game if they had them out in mid 2007, but I wouldn't rule it out entirely. They didn't even start production of Batman products until October 2005, so no matter what, they would've been pretty late. And it could work toward promotion, or at least a reminder, of the upcoming film.

I can olny hope and you all know "Hope not seen is hope that you wait for" or something like that lol
Yeah i did notice the bad cropped job they did.
I am glad they are still doing the LEGO Batman line.
Because I am not sure how well they did with the first line.
So any idea when they are hitting retail stores????

I?m not sure that LEGO has the Batman License for anything specific i.e. The Batman, Batman Begins or The Dark Knight. They look to be generic Batman characters based on the comic books. One day I have to build all mine.

Well, according to the October 27, 2005 press release, which can be found in its entirety HERE...

Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced today that they have awarded the LEGO Group the construction toy license for DC Comics' Batman. The agreement includes the rights to develop and market construction toys based on the classic Batman brand, inspired by the pages of DC Comic's comic books; Warner Bros. Animation's hit television series, The Batman; Warner Bros. Pictures' blockbuster feature film, Batman Begins, which debuted in theaters this past summer and any related theatrical releases or television programs that are produced during the period of this deal.
I'm guessing those specific rights were either dropped or there must have been some conscious decision simply not to make anything based on the film or animated series. Kinda strange.
