FYI:
The Walmart in Spartanburg, South Carolina had the Movie Masters figures on the shelf today.
There were Batmans galore and a few thugs (a couple of different masks).
So, they are still around in SOME places.
Sum Nox!

At the walmart in chattanooga, TN they have some batmans and thugs there in movie masters but they hold no interest to me! I've been looking for a reasonably priced movie master joker for months now and I cant ever find one. Any ideas?
Also has anyone see the neat joker key chains at hot topic? I would've loved to get one put $8 is a bit steep for a keychain yea?

Ok.. here's some clarifacation on WAVE 2..
I received the current Q&A, (which will be posted soon) and I asked this question:
Q: Is Deathstroke and Firfly still slated to be released in The Dark Knight line?
A: We will be revealing Wave 2 of these figures at San Diego Comic Con.
So I then asked:
With TDK Wave 2, there are figures out now, Body Canon BATMAN,
Grapnel Launcher BATMAN, Punch Packing The Joker, Saw-Shot BATMAN, Sky Glider BATMAN and Sonic Spy BATMAN, are these part of Wave 1? Like wave 1.5?
A: The figures aren't broken into specific waves for this line. Just
releases.
So why did he say Wave 2 would be revealed at SDCC?? Still.. we now know that this is NOT Wave 2.

On action-figure.com, they just put up a new story on wave 2 of the movie masters, but it only shows the 2 Batmans, and Scarecrow, although we do get to see what "crime scene evidence" Batman has.

Taget has some new Power Tek TDK Batmans.
Sadly they are reselling the two previous BB Power Tek, Electro Strike & other ending with wings.
I think the 4" inch figures will come spontaneusly on July.
You guys maight want to get up early & show up at TRU & Walmart? if you all want to get the MM. I bet it wouldnt be very much of them on each stores. I hope the line of people not be much, because I'm ready to kick some a**** & got to jail for it, if some one tries to take it from me.. yes it can come up to that, so better order some now... too bad that you can't order the devil u other unexpected Movie Master. |

My local TRU had that display up as well and even had TDK product on the shelves under it. Nothing new for TDK on the pegs, but Imaginext DC Super Friends Batcave, Batmobile and Batcopter are out. Lots of play value with Imaginext. Unlike previous Imaginext sets I used to buy for my son, the Batcave came assembled already. While they look just like their larger DC Super Friends counterparts, the Batmobile is a new model and not patterned after the My First Batmobile or the Shake-N-Go Batmobile, although the Shake-N-Go Batmobile looks to be about the same scale. All three come with exclusive figures.

Kinda off subject, but I don't like the new Imagnext. The old ones, where it took forever to build was fun. With these, they kinda kiddied them down. There is no building anymore and the playsets (most of them) look cheap...
Back to subject..

Well, since they released press photos for Movie Masters line 2 I assume I was right in believing they haven't taken the toys off of the market premenantly?

Well, Mattel did say that the rest of their 2008 lineup was not affected by the recall, so who knows?
My Target finally got in their stock yesterday, including The Batmobile, X-Pandables, and these 2-packs I haven't seen before. One has Batman with the blue armor, and Scarecrow, and the other one has Staff-Strike Batman w/ Punch Packing Joker. Anyone else seen these?

Which set of figures (4", 5",or 6" is the Stealth Launch Batmobile supposed to work with? I just really haven't found much to buy from the new movie, aside from the movie masters and 2 of the 5" figures. I am just having a really hard time getting into this line. Quite a change from previous movies.

well the tumbler/batpod is for the 5" scale, not only that it the figure is already in the vehicle or in this case the batpod. i found this thread on another batman board and someone already got the stealth lunch toy! it looks great but i don't like that the front tires are small and wide like tha frist one. here is the link: http://www.runboard.com/bbrotherhoodofthebat.f4.t202924

I am in Illionis right now and when I went to K-Mart they had all TDK toys (1st and some 2nd series) and it wasnt picked over. They had Joker, the Batman (TDK) suit, just everything was there.

These showed up down here too. The only one missing was the Thermo Suit Batman and Gotham City Thug 4" Two Pack.
With the Basic Two Packs they could have done repaints to at least make them look different than the single carded versions.
The next wave of figures should be out soon.

Probably not until the film debuts. While they have shown Harvey Dent in the trailers so far they have not shown Two Face yet.
