I read a Batman comic back in the 80's time frame maybe early 90's that had different non supervillian stories in it. One story Batman goes to a hostage situation and these guys all jacked up on some drug have a old lady at gun point and Batman basically gets the job done mentally. Another story this guy goes to jump off a bridge and Batman all but offers to help the guy jump only to save him at the last minute. The story that really sticks out is the lil kids that steal the tires off the batmobile while it sat in an alley.
I would really like to know the name of the series this comic comes from and the name of the issue. Any help on locating this would be great. The issue has 4 stories or so. I can not find it in Batman Wiki or DC Comics database. I was hoping there was a collector or someone really good with facts and story lines might be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I don’t know about the other ones
Well that is another time his bat mobile was vandalized but, the story I am talking about is a boy and a girl try to sell the tires and Bruce Wayne takes them as wards to help them out. I seem to remember the name The (something) Sides of Batman, or something along those lines. They did not add to any story line if I remember correctly. The reason this story sticks out is I was way into Batman at the time and this is when I first read The Dark Night Returns. This story had the darkness of what he does and the compassion and a few other not often seen emotions of Batman's persona at least to me.

Those do sound familiar, but I would have to dig through several comics to find it. If I had to guess, I would look at stuff before Year One (Batman 404). Possibly before Jason Todd came around. Your best bet is to look through the cover images of the comic section and see if something looks familiar.
