One of you probably own a a copy of
BATMAN KNIGHTFALL & BEYOND (junior novel)
written by Alan Grant & illustrated
by Graham Nolan & Scott Hanna.
As part of my original art hunt,
I'm only interested in seeing the illustrations in the book
and have no need to have an actual copy of the text.
Yes, copies can be bought cheaply via EBay.
But since I'm NOT a U.S resident. It'd take much longer
(and cost more) to grab a copy.
I was wondering any of you would be willing to send me scans
of the illustrations ?
Since there aren't supposed to be too many illustrations,
it's probably pretty easy to do (as mentioned -
I only need the illustrations, whether full page or headers).
I'm willing to pay a humble sum via PayPal
(giving the book's actual cost on EBay) for getting the scans.
I can promise and guarantee I wouldn't use the scans for anything,
but a guide (in search for original art).
I wouldn't print or publish them.
Please contact me privately and let me know if it's a
possibility and what payment would you expect for the scans.
Than you very much,
Gal

I am going to get Knightfall volume 1 in a month or two. I've read a quarter of the complete series so far so I know what it's all about. You should do research on Google. They have some books up. You can look at previews for the time being on Amazon.

I might need to emphasize it more - I'm a collector of original art, mostly Batman related original art.
I'm looking to get scans of the illustrations from this SPECIFIC book (Batman: Knightfall & Beyond)
which were illustrated by Graham Nolan & Scott Hanna.
I don't mind paying for the scans as if I were paying for the book itself.
I just want to save time and shipping, as I'm not a U.S resident.
If anyone can help me on this subject matter, I'd very much appreciate it.
Thanks again, Gal

I think that there needs to be a little clearing up for some of our members.
When the Denny O'Neil written, prose fiction novel of Knightfall was released there was a coinciding release of a young adult novel written by Alan Grant called Knightfall and Beyond.
This is a long out of print book, and not easily found. galschwartz is wanting to see what the interior illustrations, which are typically just inked drawings in children's novels look like. Probably, since he collects original art, so he can see if there are any pieces that would be worth owning.
I do not have a copy. I noticed that there are a few on Amazon and Amazon UK. I didn't see any on EBay. Best of luck finding someone with a copy.

I remember reading that book around Spring/early Summer 1995. My big brother signed it out of my local library, and I loved it. It basically told me the main and basic Knightfall storyline. It also provided me some basic info about some of the characters(Like Bane, Nightwing, Tim Drake/Robin III, Azreal, etc.), because I only at that time really knew Batman from the movies, 1960's show, what I can remember from Superfriends, and Batman: The Animated Series.
It was a novel book, which contained some pictures(Not much). The book also mentioned which Knightfall and post-Knightfall comic book issues they used for the novel to put it together. Anyways, when I eventually got my library card in 1997, I tired to find and sign out the book. At last, I never found it, for by that time, either someone lost it, or they sold it in 1 of their book sales.
The front cover has Azreal in his Batman Armour Suit, cluching Bruce's Cape And Cowl in his claws, in a reddish orange background.

I think some of you misunderstood me. So let me emphasize again -
I was offering to pay for the actual book.
It's just that since I'm not located at the U.S, I was hoping to be
able to see scans of the inside illustrations instead of having it shipped (which would take long).
There shouldn't be too many illustrations, since it's a prose (junior) novel, with only chapter illustrations (I think).
I had no intention of doing anything illegal with the scans, just to view them, so they'd guide me in my search for original art
(as I've mentioned - I'm a small time original art collector).
If I won't have another choice, I'd probably buy a copy on EBay or Amazon, but again -
I think I was offering a fair deal - to pay for the book, without you having to ship the copy
(I think,it's just as much fuss to ship as it is to scan a few images).
Thanks again,
Gal
