The marmite of the Batman mythos is one of my favourite comics period, which obviously leaves me frustrated every time I see it delayed by another month, then demoted to 'TBA' status.
I've heard countless rumours as to why this is (Miller not turning in scripts on time, heavy editing process, Jim Lee working on too many projects), but I just wanted to know if the real reason has ever been announced. I don't necessarily need to know, but I would like to, considering how much I look forward to it.
As a Shenmue fan too, as well as someone eagerly anticipating Duke Nukem Forever, I seem doomed to the idea that something will be released "when it's ready". I must just be one of those people who wants what they blatantly can't have.
(I sure hope I don't win billions of cash for doing nothing any time soon!!)

You've also got to take into consideration Frank Millar has been busy making "The Spirit" Movie, and deadlines for getting that finished probably outweigh the deadline for All Star Batman...

Jim Lee was having a issues related to his eye- his left one, I believe- . Back in September he posted a blog stating he was having surgery done on his eye, but he eventually deleted the blog posting. He has been trying to keep the problems private, so that's the only time it was publicly mentioned to my knowledge.

hmm that sucks I hope hes all right...so anyword on when the all star batman and robin volume 2 is coming out or is there still just the one? cause I cant find it anywhere if its already out.
