I remember reading the issue Batman fights Bane in Wayne Manor and feeling really bad what was going on. Each panel was painful knowing Bruce would be broken by the end. Then with Knightsend, the entire fight between Bruce and Jean-Paul was awesome. It proved that there was only one true Batman.
