ive heard alot of things about tim drake.
in some of the teen titans comics, he saw his older self as the second batman. but in the old forum, some one sed that he would become the next blue beetle or sumthing. either way, theyre both cool. but i wud just like to know.
tim(robin)'s my favorite character next to batman. too bad he kinda sucked in the animated universe(ROTJ). hopefully he'll come in TB and be cooler.

They were just making a joke with that Blue Beetle thing. Apparently there was a series in Teen Titans were they go to the future and Tim finds out that he becomes Batman. I haven't read it, but I'd really like to. I'm a little surprised they actually have that set up, but it makes sense that he would take on the title of the Batman.

Since Terry Mcginnis isn't a part of the comic continuity the Batman thing would make the msot sense since he's the current Robin.
But then again in comics things change ALL the time, and we've seen in the past futures can change because of the circumstances of the present. (hey I just used past future and present in the same sentence! lol)
I'm really curious to see what Tim turns out to be. I wonder if we'll get another Robin when TIm leaves (maybe a girl one, but a girl one that won't die!) |

i guess im sorta glad to hear that hes not gnna be blue beetle. cuz to me, tim is the perfect batman. cuz hes a really good detective right? and besides, he deserves it! lol. i hope he really does become batman, but only for like a mini series cuz ill always want bruce to be batman forever! and hopefully no more robins after tim. when i herd about stef, i was going mad. im glad tim came back.

The Blue Beetle thing was something that was planned years ago, I think back when Dixon was still on the book. We don't even know for sure if he was serious about it. The Titans thingss is a future that is supposed to be averted, based on what was told in the story itself. Tim is still too young to beome Batman at this point, but in another 10 years or so...

i dont know tim drake as batman? he has the skills but i don't think he has the edge and criminals would have nothing to fear from this new robin except well getting beat up:p but you know what i mean no more legends no more myths no urban legends just a guy in a suit

As far as seeing Tim Drake as Batman, it'll probably only be done in "future" or Elseworld stories. Remember, it's not like the comics age with us. They'll be revamped and continuity will have an entirely clean slate within the next ten or fifteen years (in real time). But I get what you're saying, it is an interesting topic.

Nope. I think I a few people mistook it as a joke, but I was being serious. I don't think its been confirmed yet, but its been deemed pretty likely.

lol. tim drake blue beetle. i herd the other one(ted kord?) died or sumthing...and so this tim drake becoming new people is in future time? or like just now? i cud imagine a young blue beetle...but thats probably cuz i dont know him very well..but a young batman?? no way.
but in the future::batmanbeyond::..everything wud work out fine.

I figured that after the recent events in the comics Tim won't be changing from being Robin any time soon. He quit, but realized that he had to be Robin. Then they killed his dad and his girlfriend, so he has established himself in Bludhaven and quit school pretty much been Robin full time in his own title. Not sure how the "War Crimes" will affect him.

yeah me too im tired of change. cuz sometimes change can bring corniness into the mix. like that female robin. nothing against robin being a female but i just didnt like the character

YES! i was so happy when tim came back as robin. when i saw stef as robin, i was like..i think robin just lost one of his fans...but then he came back. and now hes so cool!

true that! tims the best robin! IMO atleast. batman sed some crap about the other robins and how tim was so good in HUSH. then i was like...tim is the best..no doubt...if batman sed it, then its true.:yes:

A few months ago DC came out with "Prelude to Infinite Crisis." Ted Kord stumbles upon some very weird happenings and eventually learns that someone's plotting to take down the heros of the DCU using millions of unbelievably powerful (moreso than even Superman) androids called OMACs. After learning this he was shot. This is all leading into the huge mini-series "Infinite Crisis" in October. After "IC" the DCU will jump ahead one year and many things will be different.
