Over the next twelve months, I shall be uploading different volumes of The Batman Collection, all in timeline order in accordance to his evolution from vigilante to superhero to legend.
Oh, and I shall update this topic every time I upload a new volume, which I'm hoping will be every time Demonoid open up their registrations to the public.
The Batman Collection Vol.01: Batman Begins
Enjoy!
NOTE: TORRENT WILL BE DOWN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Ah, you decided to split it up and release it slowly? Works for me. Thanks a lot for doing this, I'll be keeping my eye on this topic and downloading every part. |

Yeah, I'm releasing a new volume every month. Currently there are 20 in total that I am working on, and they include pretty much every major storyline plus fillers.

Ok, what exactly is the Batman Collection? You've posted it in the "Batman Comics & Other Publications", which would lead me to believe you're pirating comics and posting them here for download...
If that is the case, that is not only illegal but also very, very stupid. If DC sees this website with pirated comics, movies or cartoons they will likely take legal action against you and Chris, as well as shut down this site. In fact they have threatened legal action against sites who merely post unauthorized SCREENSHOTS.
So if these are pirated comics your posting, consider this as an official cease and desist.
And if this isn't pirating or anything I'm sorry for flying off the handle, it just seems more and more people want to use this place as a hub for illegal downloads and it's really getting under my skin.

That's a very cool project to start. I'm actually tempted to make my own personal cut of Final Crisis set in chronilogical order for my own personal enjoyment. Due to legalities of course a personal project is how it would remain. DC has been very gracious to us with using the images we have and they kinda frown on the distribution thing.
But it's awesome that you're that dedicated to the Bat though! I see that the file was self-deleted. That's cool of you. Appreciate it.

No, I'm scanning them onto my laptop, but I'm just ordering them. I'll also post up the front cover, synopsis, and other information. Also, if you'd like to read a comic, I'd be happy to allow you the opportunity to view it via my computer screen using 'remote assistance' on MSN. Sneaky, yes, but legal.

Ok, I get it. It's no less legal then our comics section I guess.
Sorry, yesterday was an off day for me, so I'm sorry if I flew off the collar there.

Well that's very cool. What order are you putting them in? Cannon or story arc order?
If you 'd like, we can always use some help over in the comics section!

They ain't gonna be exact canon reading order, but they'll be in a reading order that you can make sense of. For example, volume one includes Year One, The Man Who Laughs, various Legends of the Dark Knight issues, and others. At the moment, the first five volumes will go as follows:
Vol. 1: Batman Begins
Batman establishing himself as Gotham's protector.
Vol.2: The Long Halloween
Masks, metahumans, and supernatural beings start easing themselves into the picture.
Vol.3: The Dark Victory
Batman's rogue gallery become a prominent force in Gotham
Vol.4: The Brave and the Bold
Batman runs into the various other 'heroes' that are cropping up around the place.
Vol.5: Batman & Robin
Dick Grayson's time has come, and the dynamic duo make their debut outside of the Batcave.
20 volumes in total are being planned and mapped out. Batman R.I.P. will occur in vol. 19, and vol.20 will begin a new era. So as you can see, a lot of work has to be done, and there are a lot of issues to scan and collect. I'm also thinking of e-mailing DC about the idea of selling these volumes as digital comics in bulks (DC obviously, not myself). I reckon at about $40 a volume, it'd be worth it.

Yeah, I'm gonna do little explanations too of stuff like the Batman R.I.P. saga, how it all links together, and when everything occurs. I only have to do like.. two hours work every month or summat, so it ain't gonna be a lotta work.
