Your thoughts?
hmm,
1. i dont know. to be honest, i dont really care. as long as it isnt Catwoman and they try some "heir to the bat" type thing.
2. well, i keep hearing rumors that Clark isnt going to be Superman anymore, so this could be the way it can happen. WW is being cancelled, so this may be how that ends.
3. im gonna go with Bruce. however the rumor i heard was he was going to run for president, so this might be the political office he goes for.
4. i vote MM, he is missing after what happened with the Watchtower.
5. could Earth 2 Supes take on the role of our Earths Superman? could be if #1 comes to pass.
6. Hal Jordan just came back, i cant see DC making him fall like that again. Captain Marvel maybe. there seems to be alot of rampant magic right now, so he may become a scapegoat of sorts.
7. Dick or Connor. i heard 2 rumors surrounding these guys. Dick will take on the role of Batman with Bruce taking the political office, and Connor will become the new Superman. but if my #5 comes to pass where does that leave Connor? hmm..
8. i say JLA
9. Cyborg
10. Brainiac just doesnt seem to fit with this type of act. Sinestro has the power with his ring to do it. Savage i can see doing this. Black Adam is the wild card, with DC lately you never know.

Thanks for putting this stuff up. I don't get to read Wizard until a couple of weeks later. Some really cool stuff in here. My ideas and reasons:
1. Well Power Girl did in Zero Hour, so I would throw her out. Wonder Woman and Oracle just don't make sense. Based on the Lee cover to Infinite Crisis #3 Catwoman has a chance. I can't for the life of me figure out how things are supposed to reach that point though. Story wise, I understand where kids come from.
2. My money's on Wonder Woman. I figure that the depowering will be caused by the havoc that the OMACs are wreaking on Themyscira. Although, Earth 2 Superman may be depowering Superman.
3. I snickered at the absurdity of most of the choices. Wally West is a mechanic for the police (last time I heard at least). Dick was a police officer, so he may have a bit of clout, and a platform for change in Bludhaven could work. The bad guy story will probably not be involved with IC. Bruce Wayne could become mayor of Gotham, it might help put Batman back in good with the police. He has to popularity and money to do it. Thing is that Batman would have to be put aside. There are rumors of a change in the man behind the mask though. Bruce may be very tempted by the Earth 2 Superman's offer. Oliver Queen is too much anti-government to do it. It just doesn't fit his character.
4. Martian Manhunter is a strong possibility and could make for a really cool storyline, especailly since there will apparently be no JLA. Atom and Elongated Man have been through a lot recently and would probably welcome a bit of amnesia, and Atom's wife recently gained some out there powers so who knows. Aquaman just doesn't sound like it would be a good story.
5. If the beetle scarab is going to give some major powers Booster Gold could become a powerful hero by becoming Blue Beetle. Kyle Rayner has potential, he has the ring without all of the flaws that the other Lanterns have. Isn't Earth 2 Superman already the most powerful hero in the DC Universe?
6. It has already been done with Hal Jordan. The Flash is just about written as the Spider-man of the DC Universe, so it could happen with him. I would like to see something happen with Captain Marvel so that people would care about the character. Something could happen with the Seven Deadly Sins being on the loose and Shazam being dead. This plot point will either be really cool or make a lot of readers angry.
7. I figure that Guy Gardner will still be around. I could see the others staying too, except Superboy, I think that Connor's days are numbered.
8. Shot in the dark, but I think we can say bye-bye to the JLA.
9. John Stewart has a military background so that makes him too obvious, but a cool choice. Wonder Woman won't be involved with the government. I could see either Cyborg or Red Tornado being involved with something like Checkmate. I would go more along with Tornado because Cyborg likes being with the Titans too much.
10. Brainiac has not shown up in entirely too long. I think that we are going to see some serious stuff go down with him before it is over.
