sometime during the 80's there was a cover to one of the batbooks with bruce wayne posed with some ladies in a james bond style shot. anyone know which issue this was? i know its obscure...

Well, I don't know which issue that is, but I can narrow down the parameters of your search a bit. It definitely wasn't an issue of Detective Comics, since I have all those stretching back to the 550s. For the issues before that, I looked through vol.2 of Batman in Detective Comics, which reprints every cover of the entire run up until issue 600. Not on any of those, either. If it was an issue of Batman, it would have to be prior to issue 398, since I have all of them since, and it's not on any of them. So, maybe that will make your search a bit easier, since that's quite a lot of comics you can rule out.
