I was wondering if anyone had good pictures of various Batplanes/Batwings from over the years.I am beginning a Batcave model on a shelf and have set up my Batmobile collection. I began thinking about the various Batplanes, but am unable to find ANYTHING close to Spencer1984's GREAT Batmobile site for the planes.
All I can find that shows more is the Wiki entry:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batplane
Let's post what we have here.

Check out Batman: The Ultimate Guide to the Dark Knight by Scott Beatty.
http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Ultimate-Guide-Dark-Knight/dp/078947865X/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1197768116&sr=8-7
There are two versions of the book. The second edition

That has a few more updated pages.
Both have a some great details about all the Bat Vehicles and just about everything else.
If you buy one from Amazon, please use the Amazon button on the BYTB page to get to it. It will help support the site. Thanks

i've got that book. The pages on the Batmobile. planes, and boats are weak. The cutaways are good, but only cover the Burton/Furst-mobile, the "SuperBatmobile" (late-90s one-> Spencer's favorite and one of mine), the modern Batboat/sub (the same one Corgi made), and the Wayne Aviation "SlipStream" in-flight converting plane. On anything else, it isn't very good on vehicles. The DC role-playing "Gotham City" book is MUCH better on most things.
I also own a number of the "Secret Files" issues too. Those are good for "snapshots" of the periods when written, but don't cover much "history" before then.
Anyone have picts of the "new" Batwing that was recently into the main continuity? I don't have regular access to a comic book store right now. The nearest is over 45 miles away. The next is almost 60. So, I usually just buy the collections and the graphic novels from bookstores, Amazon, or when I am able to hit a comic book store.

I haven't really followed the vehicles outside of the Batmobile, but I've got most of the Batman titles from the last few years and a lot of arcs and standalones from before then. I'll take a look through them and see what I can find.

Thanks Chris,
That was the FIRST place I looked (before Wiki), as this is probably the BEST place for Batman stuff.
My hope is that the ones in this thread MIGHT end up in that entry (though wasn't planning on mentioning it until we got some).
