For those that do not know what Batwoman looked like back when she was a regular. HERE IS THE B:YTB PROFILE
The ending of the profile is a little dated because there was a brief "ghost" appearance of Batwoman in one of the crossovers for The Kingdom. Batman actually recognized her, despite the fact that he had never seen her before (in modern continuity). I think that by the end of Infinite Crisis, we'll be seeing some explanation to these things, but we have about half a year to wait. Stay tuned for more info.
As an answer to Batboy's question, I don't know what direction they should go with the costume design. You really can't do what was done in the Silver Age. The most logical thing is something like the current Batgirl has, or like in Mystery of the Batwoman. It wouldn't be the first time that they adapted an animated character's design to the comics.

I just don't think that the yellow and red costume would fit in with the modern day stuff. Even Robin's costume has had a lot of darkening since Tim Drake took over. I just don't think that the old design makes sense in today's continuity. Of course they haven't changed Catman's costume, and Gail Simone managed to make him the coolest character in Villains United. Catman, for those that don't know has an orange costume.
