This is in reference to Didio's interview stating the possibility of two Batmans.
After reading the article, I thought it was interesting there was going to be that possibility. Chris then had the idea of having Grayson Batman/Robin and Wayne Batman/Red Robin.
I could imagine two different teams protecting the streets.
One team consists of:
Bruce Wayne/Batman (The one and only)
Cassandra Cain/Batgirl (Because I love her as Batgirl)
Helena Bertinelli/Huntress (Because she's hot)
Second Team:
Dick Grayson/Batman (He's growing on me as Batman)
Stephanie Brown/Batgirl (New team, new generation)
Kathy Kane/Batwoman (Don't really know about her so no comment)
To be honest, I don't know where I would place Damien or Tim. I know that Grayson and Damien are the new Batman/Robin but Damien is the biological son of Bruce and I feel like he should be with Bruce. But I just now realized as I type this that Robin should balance the darkness of Batman so Damien's dark mood would counter Grayson's lightheartedness. Tim and Bruce have always worked well together.
Would you guys like to see this happen? I would.
The only thing stopping you from success is doubt. |

This whole thing confuses me.....
I'm sorry, I'm kinda like, "WAIT! WHAT?!"
Reading this makes my eye twitch and then I have to go and hide behind Oswald because I'm scared of even thinking about all of this because I'm afraid my head might explode from all of this knowledge.
Okay, here's what I think:
Bruce/Tim Team (Because they work well together)
Dick/Damien Team (Because they are already Batman & Robin)
I don't know where the others would fall because they work solo sometimes and sometimes they don't. And I have no idea who Kathy Kane is so I too have no comment.
All I have to say is....
I'm with Oswald!
The rest of you can figure this one out. XD

I think the rest of the Bat Family should pick which Batman they would like to follow |

I personally think they should make this into two teams with two operations. One of the teams with operations that are more about common Gotham problems and don't really deal with supervilliains although they could deal with lesser villians such as Zsasz or Firefly... Then the other teams batman would work with the justic league and that teams robin/red robin could be with the titans. And the female Batman Family members would then be devided on basis of their skills to go with one of the two teams
Of cousrse Dick and Damian would be the lesser team asssigned with lesser gotham problems... Huntress and Stephanie with them.
Bruce and Tim (back in his robin costume... if their can be two Batmen there can be two robins) would be invovled with big cases workig more closely with Jim Gordon and going against villiains such as two face and joker and also participating in robin and the titans. The titans need a robin and its only right bruce is allowed to take back his place in the league.

I think that migh tbe a bit confusing boywonder93...Maybe Bruce as Batman should over look everything, Dick could go back to Nightwing and Tim could be Red Robin and they could be in charge of things in the field, with the women going with whomever they wish, while Bruce oversees everything from the Batcave. |

Eh thats an interesting idea but I would like to see Bruce back as the Batman... Maybe Dick and Damian could operate in Bludhaven while. While Tim and Bruce take over Gotham. From what I understand from the Red Robin book, Tim said he only put on the Red Robin Guise so there could be no traces back to Bruce or Dick if things went wrong. I think you could have no other Robin with Bruce than Tim....

That isn't a bad idea but you think the teams should be farther apart meaning having a team on the East Coast and one on the West Coast..then it might work because if they are working too close together that's when things can get all mixed up and confusing |

I don't really like the idea of a Batman outside of Gotham.
I think they should Maverick it. Bruce can be Brett and Dick can be Bart. Dick can get his own Batman title (Detective Comics maybe?) while Bruce keeps 'Batman'. And than everyonce in a while we have a Batman/Batman teamup issue where the two of them work together.
Damian could stick with the Robin persona until he does a Jason Todd and starts killing people. Tim can stick to being Red Robin and in a way be a spiritual successor to Nightwing. Stephanie can die and stay dead this time. Babs can finally take back the Batgirl mantle (the unlimited technology in the DC universe and somehow they can't make paraplegic walk again? I find that hard to believe.) and become Dick's sidekick.
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!

Babs will never be Batgirl again, shes outgrown that. As for walking, the way I understand it, she has been offered many times from various people, (Zatanna for one) to Cure her and she refuses to do anything like that, if she walks she wants it to be natural.
Besides, I like Steph...

Yeah I'd like to see stephanie dead also. She's annoying I never even really liked her. Even when she was dating Tim I wanted him to get away from her she's a retarded character. Plus, Cassandra is Bruce's daughter now so she should be the one bearing the cowl of batgirl.
Buckeye Bat- Yeah that's a good idea... Bruce Keeps Gotham and Dick could move to L.A. maybe? If that city even exists in the DCU lol.
I'm still against Tim keeping Red Robin it just wouldn't be right to have a batman red robin team. And I honestly want them to get rid of Damian like kill him off or something and NOT bring him back

@Raz...that's why I suggested that Bruce stay in Gotham and be Batman there while the rest of the go out into the field Dick being Nightwing, Tim being Red Robin, the two of them be in charge out in the field and Batgirl and Batwoman can go the way they want |

I'm happy that they will be bringing Bruce back.
Bruce and Tim should be Batman and Robin in Gotham. Dick can go do his own thing and then the others can decide what they want to do.
I dunno. Not my call. But I like the idea of Bruce/Tim team up.
The way I see it....the villains are just gonna get confused.... I mean with Dick, Damien, Tim, Steph, and whoever else running around...good god, wait until they see that the actual Batman is back!
So, Ozzy and I have decided we will make a chart...I'm a visual person anyway, best way to learn!
XD LOL!!!

I think that could be the point Erin, maybe to confuse the criminals into thinking that there is more than one Batman but as you said it's getting down right confusing |

It could be confusing, but not as much as the Flashes and Green Lanterns.
Flash I (Jay Garrick)
Flash II (Barry Allen)
Flash III (Wally West)
Then you have Kid Flash II and now Impulse II.
Green Lantern I (Alan Scott)
Green Lantern II (Hal Jordon)
Not to mention ALL of the other GL's
So having 2 Batmen for awhile wouldn't be so bad, but again, I think they need to have Dick be his own hero.

Don't forget Chris that Alan Scott and Jay Garrick were Green Lantern and The Flash before and during the WWII yrs and Hal Jordan and Barry Allen became the heroes in the early sixties so there was a 20 yr gap between the two(notice I'm not accounting for Earth-1 and Earth-2...I am approaching the subject as when the characters were created and recreated as it were) so having two Batmen at the same time just seems kind of wrong.
I agree completely with you that Dick should continue on as Nightwing because if anyone should be the second Batman it should be Bruce's son Damien.

Yes, they were created at different times, but they now co-exist with the same names.

Hence the reason I rarely buy comics anymore, it's to hard to keep track of who is who and where are they etc...but I do try and keep up with the TV shows (Smallville, B:TBATB and the animated series and films of the DCU) |

Iris West. Wally's daughter. She just became Impulse in Flash Rebirth #5.
