It was a no brainer. I have to agree, Dini has defined Batman for a lot of fans with the animated series, and Morales did some great art with Batman in Green Lantern: Rebirth.
This is EXACTLY the kind of team I was hoping for! I never thought we'd wind up with Dini as the regular writer, but I was hoping someone with that kind of understanding of the characters and their world would take over the Batman books. I hope the rumors of Grant Morrison on a batbook are true. I love Morales's art, too. This is one of the books I'm most looking forward to right now.
