Adam West and the #3 are featured on the cover of this Month's Griot's Garage Handbook (#254), and there is another photo and brief writeup on the inside cover. You can read an editorial by Richard Griot and see the other pics on the GG site here.

I'm not a big car guy, but that was a nice little Father's Day story. From the sound of it, this fellow doesn't actually own a Batmobile, rather, he found one nearby to be used for the photo shoot. Pretty neat.

Yes; the #3 is part of the Hart collection in Redmond, WA, and Griot's corporate HQ is in nearby Tacoma (less than an hour drive). I don't know if they went to the car or the car was sent to them, but either way it worked out perfectly.
