i haven't drawn too much lately cuz of school and stuff..but here's a design for a cartoonized dark knight. it's too detailed for cartoons, and too simple for comics; i put it right in the middle where it's kinda just useless, lol.
I just noticed that statement... I must say that American animation does suck a hell of a lot... Cause in the hands of a Japanese or Korean studio that design would make one hell of a good cartoon, just enough stylization to keep fluidity, but still with eye-popping detail. That drawing is only usless in America.
P.S. Phil, please tell me you're secretly doing character design for the Batman Anime... That would make my day lol

america makes GOOOD animation. it's just that batman doesn't get that kind of treatment. the animated disney movies are SO good!! especially tarzan! and road to el dorado was really good too.
my hope for this batman anime is for it to look like ghost in the shell or akira, and have a really good soundtrack. if it were up to me, i'd get breaking benjamin or linkin park to make a song for the credits.

I was refering to T.V. shows, but yeah, America only puts the budget nessecary for really good animation in movies.
I'm all for Ghost in the Shell style animation and a Linkin Park song!

korean cartoons...do they even exist?
korean kids aren't into cartoons. they just play computer games, and smoke cigarettes. although they're into comics. and korean comics are really...bad...they all deal with love triangles where 2 girls try to get the same guy or something. really bad stuff.
but japan? yeah.
