this is the place to talk about who you would cast as ivy and her story,i would cast jolie or jovovich
(note these are my first ever manips that i just did with a free trial of paint shop pro so be nice )

This is the wrong board, you posted the thread in the "Fan-art & Photos" board when it obviously belongs to the "The Dark Knight & Future Films" board.
And you already know my opinion about Ivy.

Most of those aren't too bad, Batboy. The first Jolie one is kinda gross, though, with those smudgy lips and the super bright hair. All the others are somewhat nice, just nothing that I particularly identify as Ivy I guess. A lot of the colors are a little too intense and almost neon, so I'd probably lighten up in that aspect. They don't look all that fake, though, so you should improve as you do more.

actually i started this in the tdk forum,and i discuss the character along the way anyway i would love to see what lee did with her without superman tho :p,i want her with that green pale skin with leaves all round her

That's pretty good work there, batboy99. I agree with Cale - the colors are a bit bright, but they don't really look fake. More like an extreme makeup job than "hey, this was Photoshopped" (or PSP'ed as the case may be). |

well ya i know but stupid thing is,thats as dark as it goes its really dumb,the jolie one is bright the jovovich ones i think are just right

No prob, like I said - they look cool overall. The more you do it, the more you'll find that "natural" colors are pretty counterintuitive, and actually very difficult to achieve. By way of example, here's the same raw pic as you used for Milla, done as a TNBA Ivy:
Granted, she isn't very natural, but bear with me
By cranking the lightness up and the base saturation down, it allowed for subtler colors to be used. Subtler colors=fewer places for our eyes to see differences, and makes the overall piece seem more solid. |

Batboy99, You're highly superficial... Every time an actress has one tiny feature you don't like you say "Ew"? And if Milla Jovovich is too flat chested to play Ivy, who is drawn flatchested by Bruce Timm, then why do you cast relatively flat chested woman for Emma Frost; who's supposed to have a rack you could hang a lawnmower on.

first,bruce tiimms drawings are cartoons,second,charlize isnt flat chested,just not big but that doesnt really matter,the x suit can fix that and i want kelly carlson for emma now ans 3rd,why the hell would you bring something x-men related up?honestly as i said before,dont reply to my posts,its not that hard
