i haven't drawn too much lately cuz of school and stuff..but here's a design for a cartoonized dark knight. it's too detailed for cartoons, and too simple for comics; i put it right in the middle where it's kinda just useless, lol.
but i'll have a colored version up some time soon.
i'll do a regular black one, a grey and black one, and just for fun, a green one. when those will come..i don't know. lol.
oh yeah...i took this pose off of The Batman if anyone recognizes it.
EDIT:

white eye lenses!!!!

I think it looks awesome but it looks like you took some inspiration from The Batman. Namely the claws and cape. I'm not a big fan of the claws, it also reminds me of Azrael Batman. |

I love the symetry of the armour, and the perportions are just about spot on (thought the head looks a tad small to me).
However, I don't like the size and distance of the scallops on the cape and I don't like the claws... It's just too styalized to fit in Nolan's world IMO.

maybe i should have said this was TB with TDK armor, lol.
i can change the cape and claws with photoshop pretty easily; the colored versions will hopefully have a better look.

It doesn't look bad, actually, I am just not one who likes claws on my Batman. So having the stylist choices of TB with the realism of TDK isn't my favorite thing, it's just my opinion and nothing more.
I'm sure when a few more TB fans sound in they'll say it looks great.

*DROOL*
You gave the armour the perfect sheen, the contrast between the armour and the body suit is amazing! I love that you did both the black and the white lenses.

Phil, I think you should be the one doing the comic adaptation of the film. Who agrees with me? |

Well, now that you mention alternate colour schemes and action figures... How Knight Star Batman from the BTAS line?
Gold body armour on a black undersuit, exept the the top of the chest armour (you know the overhang that contains the emblem) the shoulder armour, the gauntlets and the boots are black, and the emblem is gold.
Here's the figure for referance

That was one of my favorite Batman figures when I was a kid, the other was a dark blue and black Returns Batman, but you already did that blue on black lol.
