here are my robin designs for future batman movies. i've seen a lot of batman begins styled robin costumes...but with The Dark Knight costume, i thought it would make more sense for him to have something like this. if anything, i think robin needs more armor than batman does...so here you go.

as for robin in movies goes. i think it could work if the origin was messed around with a bit. since bruce didnt become batman until 30, it would make sense for dick grayson to be in his teenage years. i think bruce wayne can adopt dick grayson in the 3rd movie, and i guess reveal that he's batman to him in the 4th movie. and in the 4th movie he could act as an oracle of some kind as robin. and in the 5th movie, he'd be ready to right crime. and in the 6th movie, he'd leave for college, and become nightwing.

that's how i would do it. but i'm not nolan...so i can only hope. chances are...robin wont be in until movie 4 or 5 when nolan isnt directing. the guy just doesnt like robin apparently.

I REALLY like the first one. It gives it a little more realism with the eyes.

I'm trying to imagine an actor who looks like your drawing and for some reason, I keep thinking of an actor from Power Rangers.

hah! i know the guy you're talking about. the black ranger right?

but anyways...if u guys didnt notice, there is a bird shaped armor on his chest. it's kinda unnoticeable, but it's there. i thought it would look cool, but i think i shoulda made it a brighter red or something. maybe shinier.

Didn't realize the bird shaped armor. Nice touch.

I love the design. The Red armour with Black undersuit thing is something I've had on my mind for a while. I do think that the neck of the costume, the mask, and the hair look a tad bit to stylized, though.

I'm not to big on the title "Dark Prince"... It makes him sound like a character from a fairy tale. Perhaps "Dark Squire" is more acurate? lol

dark squire, lol. yeah...i mean batman is the dark knight.

but seriously, they should do something with robin. i'm not liking "The Boy Wonder" for a title. if i was robin, i'd feel pretty offended, lol.

The boy robin is a little kiddie and if robin was ever brought in, i doubt they would use that.
Again, I love this costume, but i think robin should have all of batmans spare costumes from BB lol

i wouldnt mind a kid dick grayson. in fact, i think i'd like that a lot. it would further develop bruce wayne's character, and it'll be like an easter egg for fans. cuz i think the general audience wants robin to be in the movies, but knows it wouldnt work too well. just dick grayson wouldnt hurt...something like the "Robin's Reckoning" flash backs. those almost made me cry. haha.

for me, the youngest i would go is 15, 14 is already pushing it.(Even though i want a 19 year old for robin, but he can still pull off a 15 year old, hell he played a 15 year old not to long ago)
