i just did a manipulation of freddie e. williams II's robin.
for all the robin doubters, why can't robin be treated as gotham's second dark knight instead of its boy wonder? he can be a young knight, haha.
character-wise, i'd want them to do it the way loeb did in dark victory. honestly this picture is just for kicks. i wouldn't mind robin staying in the cave, doing lucius fox sonar microphone work.
but anyhow. i'm aware dark victory is bale's personal favorite. why the hate for robin then?

i know you all must be sick and tired of my robin stuff. i've been throwing these things at you guys for nearly 3 years now. hahaha, ever since batman begins, maybe before.
i'll never give up on my endeavors in making robin's reputation better than just batman's useless sidekick.
I love that manipulation, though i dont get why he has two symbols. As for Robin in nolans movies, let me start off by saying I love the character of Robin and im sick of people thinknig he's just a cheesy little kid, BUT I dont see him working in these films. 1, its olny like Batmans second year, too early for Robin and 2, Nolan and others have stated they dont want robin and feel he will get in the way. And I know batmans existance has been more Batman and Robin than Solo Batman, but this batman in the movies is just so dark and lonely that I think Robin would ruin that image they have given Batman. I do think there could be a young kid out there who idolizes batman and becomes robin without necessarily being his ''sidekick''.

sn't this the perfect time then? robin could be the one person who can sustain batman's humanity...well not robin, but dick grayson. with the batman hunt going on, batman might go a little batty without some moral support from the son he doesn't deserve, but needs.
to me, the past movies have reflected graphic novels.
batman begins - batman year one
the dark knight - the long halloween
wouldn't it be cool if the next film reflected batman dark victory (which focused on dick grayson)?
i know bale and nolan hate robin, but a little optimism couldn't hurt. even just seeing a flying graysons poster while bruce is walking around the streets of gotham would bring a smile on my face.
Hey Phil, I am currently a full fledged advocate of the "Add a side-kick in TDK2/BB3/Batman 7" movement. I'm kinda torn between Catwoman and Robin, but I would love to see a Robin done justice.

You mean like his first year was too early for Ras?

Things can change... Nolan started out completely unsure whether or not he'd want to do Joker, and we all see how that turned out...
Like Phil said, they are setting the film in perfect position for a side-kick... So it's highly likely they're at least considering using him.
Oh, and great photomanip Phil!!!
