i think that the fact that bytb has 1000 members definitly proves that is the best site ever
so in this thread is like a meet and greet but for everybpdy to introduce themselves again so we know each other more:

I'm Razhwurz, I am very opinionated and speek my mind bluntly, so people think I'm angry when I'm as happy as a butterfly on a spring afternoon.
I also hate all things whimsical and my favorite fictional character is the Joker; dark psychoctic version, not campy loony version.
I also have a small authority problem, so I've gotten in trouble with the mods on a few occasions... :|

hi i,m davidg i found this site on yahoo when i was looking up Batman websites, i was trying to find a Batman site that covered everything about Batman, i really glad i found this website because i think this is the best Batman site ever, and it has everything i was looking for. |

Ok, I don't think I ever formally introduced myself, so Hi!! I'm batgirl!!  I have been reading this site for like 2 years, but I decided to join just a few months ago. It is the best Batman site ever!!! And the people on this board aren't as scary as some of the other message boards!! Lol!!
I've loved Batman ever since I was little when the movies and Batman TAS came out. I watch Batman TAS everyday.
I have a Batman (and other Batman related characters) action figures/toys/dolls obsession. And I own like 20 Batman and Batgirl shirts!!
I like to draw comic book characters, and I hope to work for DC Comics as a penciller one day.
Ok, I think that covers it!!

I think the number proves that this site is able to attract many Gothamites around the world. I belong to other boards, and just left one today.
One important quality about this board is that is covers the different aspects and eras of Batman, from his inception in 1939 to today. I grew up with the 1966 series, but have since learned more about the Caped Crusader, Feline Fatale and other citizens of Gotham.
And I have met many good people here, too!

I'm Etrigan, I'm 21 and from the UK
I'm a collector of figures of Batman (not the Joker etc) since February, and I currently have around 200. I also like to make custom figures.
Aside from these forums, I also post at Resident Evil fan (under the name Etrigan) and TRMK, a Mortal Kombat site (under the name Goraka).
I found this site while trying to identify a LOTDK figure that I bought at a junk sale (Assault Gauntlet Batman I think)

Hi.. I'm Chris, and huh.. I started the site...
Let me say this, first, BYTB was 6 years old on the 4th. (we are celebrating in January, more on that larter)
Second, I never dreamed we would have 100 members let alone, 1000, though most do not post, it's nice to know they come here and visit.
Other sites, have more, some have less, but the truth is, it doesn't matter how may members we have as long as it remains a good board. I don't post on alot of boards, but the ones I visit ,it is clear, you guys make this site awesome!

I knew this day would come; it was just a matter of time. Actually, if one were to go back and count all the past members of our old forums (an impossible feat), we'd have exceeded 1,000 a little while ago.
For those unfamiliar, my name's Cale, and I've been an all-around Batfan ever since I can remember. My memory goes back to around the VHS release of Batman in late 1989, and I remember watching it all the time while my older brothers were at school. So I'm pretty sure that film is what hooked me into the character. Then the action figures, movies, and cartoon series of the '90s further solidified my interest. This is the first forum I ever registered to in March '04 (the original ProBoards version), and it's still the friendly community it was then. There's still plenty more to come from BYTB, so stick around.

Hey, Bat-Fans! I'm craigomoteo (that's Craig Mote with o's added for rhythm). I'm 40 and have been a fan of DC super-heroes since I was around six or seven, with Bats being my favorite. I hadn't collected anything in about fifteen years. I woke up one day ten months ago and realized how much cool stuff there was compared to when I was young. I grew up with the Mego dolls and the 70's Corgi's. I've accumulated a vast collection of Batman and Superman action figures, vehicles, videos, etc. just this year. I think that's what they call middle-age crazy, but it's fun. |

Keeping with the spirit of re-introduction, my name is Bill and I'm responsible for the History of the Batmobile site. I joined up with BYTB a couple of years ago, and it's been a cool and fun time.
My interest in Batman actually stemmed from my other hobby of model building, and for a quasi-gearhead like myself, the Batmobile (and, by extension, Batman) was a perfect fit. |

My names Brick Tamland, people seem to like me because I am polite and rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I enjoy a nice pair of slacks. Years later a doctor will tell me- LOL! I`m jk but thats a great movie! My name is Kenny I`m 18 and I found this site searching for Batman pics on google one day lol. I picked the name Tim Drake because in my opinion he`s the best robin there ever was! I`ve liked Batman I`m guessing since I was 3, it was the 1989 movie and the 60s tv show that got me into the character. I have pretty big amount of batman comics and just a lot of comic books in general but Batman has and always will be my fav! Aside from superheros I`m into Punk Rock! I play guitar preferably rhythm and I`m currently trying to put together a band (all i need is a drummer). And thats basically it, Punk rock and comic Books are what make me. Anyone can make a batman site with forums and such but I basically joined this one in particular cuz everyone here seems to be nice and open minded and and everyone has their own interesting opinions...Thanx guys!

Howdy, my name is Tommy or TOMSTOYZ. I've only been a memeber a short time but have had fun here & have net some cool people. I like to share information about new toys being out & vintage toys as well.
I've been a serious toy collector for 19+ years. My main focus is Batman but I also love vintage metal lunchboxes, pez candy Dispensers, comic books, & obscure VHS movies. I enjoy reading but never seem to have the time to do that any more.

Actually, I found this site from a link on another site; but I can't remember which one.

Yup! I`m planning to get Batmans logo tattood right on my chest this coming spring. I`d get it now but the cold weathers kicking in here in NYC. I just started getting tattood this year, nothing big but batman is definatley the most anticipated one that I`m planning on! I`m 80% sure I want the version from the Batman Begins suit...
