One of my favorite Christmas movies is . . .
Batman Returns
Others:
Christmas Story
Nightmare Before Christmas
Peanuts Christmas
Scrooge (with Albert Finney)
Miracle on 34th Street (original with ST)
It's a Wonderful Life (which gets mentioned in B:TAS)
Also, would "Citizen Kane" count? A good bit involves Christmas . . .
(Probably a few I am forgetting)

Does the Wizard of Oz count? It was on TV every Christmas as a child and I watched it without fail. Still one of favourite ever films. |

My list.
- A Christmas Story
- Christmas Vacation
- How The Grinch Stole Christmas (The Jones/Seuss/Karloff cartoon, not that Jim Carrey... thing)
- Peanuts Christmas
- A Wish for Wings That Work
- Season's Greetings
Nothing can make me cry like a baby like watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas or Peanuts. The first two are hillarious classics, and the last two are hilarious but frick'n obscure. And sometimes I'll watch the Patrick Stewart version of Christmas Carol when it's on tele... I'll also watch Die Hard and Lethal Weapon early in the season lol

In addition to what's been mentioned (especially Christmas Vacation), I always liked Scrooged with Bill Murray.

No, we get It's a Wonderful Life or A Christmas Story (the latter gets the all-day marathon treatment on Christmas day).

Towering Inferno?! There's an optimistic choice! Does it even have anything to do with Christmas? I mean I watch Lethal Weapon at that time because it's a silly choice, I couldn't imagine it being on TV as a tradition.
Have you ever seen Season's Greetings? It was only broadcast a few times on BBC and was never released on VHS, so few peopl have heard of it.

yeah, agreed Iggie - when I think of Christmas TV I instantly think of Wizard of Oz. I think it's an amazing film - also, something that isnt always got when people think about it, the book from which it's taken (which in fairness I've not read) is actually quite a left-field, noir-like fantasy. It's supposed to be much darker than the technicolor blockbuster it inspired.
Believe it or not, I've never actually seen Dumb and Dumber. Home Alone was great.

This is off topic, but did anyone catch Tin-Man? That was good, and much like what the book was. While it was different, since it took place in the future, almost like a Sequel to WOZ..
