THANK YOU! I`m so glad you pointed that out lol! I`m tired of telling people how he never became hobgoblin in the comics. But I remember reading something somehwere online that he isn`t either green or hob, just simply a goblin and more so between those two characters which is cool with me I guess.

Yeah, I noticed after watching the trailer a few times that his armor looks black (could be lighting or lack of) so it is believable that Harry could be the color adjective-less Goblin

Umm... that Venom is probably a hoax; from what I've heard even the best of insiders can't even get a tiny look at Venom; and Raimi has a knack for releasing fake images to get people off track. Right now all we've got is the facts:
1. Raimi said Venom and Sandman would need mind-bending CG; and he's delivered on Sandman's front, but this Venom is only a medium quality latex prop.
2. The Latex material used on this Venom is nothing like the materials used for the Spider-man costume or the Symbiote prop it's self.
3. Venom didn't apear on the most resent trailer, so it's not likley that the design would be leaked out in a small clip at the tail end of a Comic-con trailer.

That looks cg to me. It is such a brief shot and it could be an early image. They would put texturing on later. About the only thing that is final in that is the mouth, and there is no drool there. You can't have venom without more drool than my 3 month old daughter.
If you watch the second video most of the spiderman shots are very early animation. Besides the webbings on the black spidey suit are probably form overlapping the red and blue suit. Venom could be smooth.

I still doubt that that's their design, I've heard insiders (really, really good insiders.) complaining about how they can't even get a look; And if Raimi isn't showing it to insiders he ain't going to just release it at Comic-con.
He's probably just pulling the wool over our eyes again, while all of us are supposed to be staring at this in complete nerd heaven; he's at Columbia Studios working on Venom's real design unimpeaded by people asking "What does Venom look like?"
Don't believe me if you don't want to, but in May when we've all seen the movie I'll be waiting here with a big "I told you so."

You can "I told you so" me all you want, but there is nothing that I said is all that disputable because I am only looking at the stuff from the "leaked" video. It doesn't look latex to me. I can't, but I don't imagine it would be that easy to animate something like that.

First, I said very very good insider; This insider is so good that every time in the last Six years I've come to them with a suprising peice of information, they'de known months in advance. This is the person that convinced me to even watch Begins in the first place.
And trust me, I've heard from people who have dealt with Sam Raimi, he's a good director, but he is a shifty bastard (with all due respect); did you know he hires deceptive artists to do concept art of things that he isn't even thinking of putting in the movie, just so he can throw insiders off.
At this point Raimi has nothing to gain from leaking the real Venom design onto the internet, and he's to secretive to have done it; the only reason he would have done this is to draw attention away from the real design.
P.S. It could be CG, if so they seem to have designed it after the alien in Alien; translucent head, latex like texture, and a thin human-like figure.
And that "I told you so" was directed to BlueBeettle22, he dosen't believe a word I say; even though I've been right a lot.

By the way "beloved" razhwurz if you got so "good good" insiders why dont you give us a peak from what is really coming, i mean what has the sandman got to do with uncle ben's murder? or what happens to the symbiote when peter takes it off??what happens to harry???is there going to be a fourth one????

Ok guys, before this gets to be a BIG argument, I want it cooled off now.
If that Venom is a fake, then it's a good fake, and still gives us something to look for. But I have NEVER heard of Rami putting fake stuff out there, not saying he hasn't, or doesn't, but thats just stupid.
I would like to know what kind of "Insider" Info you get, just out of curiousity, again, not saying you don't, but I've known a few fake insiders.
Anyway, if this thread gets out of hand, it'll be locked, and those involved will be dealt with. Lets keep it friendly please.

Unforunately I can't tell you anything because I don't know anything, my insider can't say anything til after the fact, that's why they're trusted with this information in the first place. However ask me about some inside stuff from recent releases and then maybe I can talk.
BB22, I really think you should lighten up, so far all we've argued about is T.V. show budgets and insider information; both things that I've had a good amount of experiance in. Oddly enough I don't think I know everything, so If you ever want to teach me a leason, just pick a topic I don't know much about.

Actually, releasing a fake Venom does Raimi a world of good; already having an "official" Venom lowers the chances of the real design being leaked early.
