the life in general is just getting much more dangerous as time passes.
Well, I dunno. That's a bit of a general statement. There's always people from past generations talking about how their time was so much prouder and better based on a few aspects, and all I can think is "Yeah, like how the guys with darker skin had to use a different drinking fountain - what a proud time to live in." There are so many different factors that create improvement or potential harm, but rarely is there a 100% decline.
One of my main concerns is figuring out how to prevent this crap from happening again. A lot of people look at the guy's creepy writings as a clue, but good hearted people have written some pretty gruesome stories as well. Surely we can't go investigating every student that writes such material. It's more a matter of looking at their social behavior as a whole, and most people with introverted, resentful characteristics are usually ignored in a class setting. We had kids who were bullied and such at my school, but I can't recall any that acted quite like that.
