i saw it today after school with a boat load of friends, X-3 dissapointed me. i expected ALOT more. X-1 and X-2 were better, which i did not expect. the story felt sloppy, un-organized and shallow. the new director made little to no effort to EXPLAIN or ELABORATE upon alot of things. He also focused on cramming in WAY too many mutants which ended up feeling shoddy since alot of them were greatly under-utilized. Angel was shown to be a big part of X-3 in the commercials but in the movie if you count up his total screen time hes probably got about 25 seconds of screen time (and thats LITERAL, no exaggeration)
Colossus also seemed to have a larger role but this time around he actually had NO lines, whereas in X-2 he atleast said 3 wordsbig grin he was also nowhere to be found in the last battle or last stand...or should i say the 4 minute stand. i expected some more time for the ending fight. the fights were short but sweet. the special effects all looked GREAT and if the fighting scenes were all just a bit longer(X-3 was alot shorter than the previous X-men movies probably because of X-3's short fight scenes)X-3 could have been better. but the story was just shot. overall it was a fun movie to watch id give it a 7 out of 10

i thought it was really good. im no x-men fan or anything, so that might be why. but i thought it was the best.

the effects were amazing, and the fights were so good. the movie was very enjoyable. maybe its just me.

id give it a 9/10. yes, we did see some unexpected deaths...but cmon, its x-men. people die and come back all the time.

i thought this was good but not exactly great
as a big xmen fan i was sort of disappointed but as a movie fan i was impressed

Spoilers:

Since i dont care much for the character, cyclops's death was no biggie for me

but Xavior's death was really sad and very dramatic:cry:

i felt rogue and angel were underused a lot, they needed a whole lot more screen time

i liked storm a lot in this movie, she was a great leader and hallie berry was good

the best part was phoenix, they really showed off her powers embarrassed but she didnt talk much or inter act much which was disapponting but her childhood scenes were really cool

i stayed after, but im not sure i should say what happened. cuz it changes ur view of the movie a little bit. well...it gets u happier.

i thought the best part of the movie was iceman turning into iceman. the sfx was crazy good! they did so well with iceman; and i think he got his fair share of screen time and dialogue

Heh, I always stay for the credits, but it's usually a waste of time. Nice to know there'll be something worth waiting for with this one. Smile
I'm seeing it later this evening with some friends. I like a lot of the X-Men characters, although I hate the comics. Disappointed to hear that Colossus still doesn't do much. sad He's far and away my favorite, I was hoping he'd be one of the featured players in this one. Rattner is a lousy director, but I'm hoping this will be enjoyable despite him helming the movie.

In the end, though, this is just marking time until Superman Returns! big grin

I saw it yesterday. I really enjoyed it, but it did feel rushed. This could have had another hour and still probably needed a little more time. It really irritated me that they killed of Cyclops, since he is my favorite character.

Not so much that as it seemed like they had to kill him off so it was okay for Jean and Logan to be in love. The last movie showed how Cyclops is in the way for them to be together. So what do we do kill the obstruction that keeps the popular character from getting what he wants.

Lots of great fan-boy moments in the movie. Lots of the stuff has already been told, but it was really cool to see them on screen. Definitely worth seeing.

From SHH:

Despite the fact that X-Men: The Last Stand pulled in about $196 million in just four days worldwide (it cost approximately $210 million to make), Marvel Studios' Avi Arad tells Variety that they are going to move forward with the two spin-off movies instead of X-Men 4:

A big second frame decline is thus likely. But with nearly $200 million in domestic grosses by next weekend a virtual lock, Fox execs won't be shedding too many tears.

More likely, they'll be talking to their partners at Marvel about the next step for the franchise, since "Last Stand" was supposed to be the final film in a trilogy.

"The first reaction, which we should discard, is here comes 'X-Men 4,'" said Marvel Studios topper Avi Arad. "We're working on 'Wolverine,' which is definitely a continuation, and we have a very interesting script about a young Magneto."

We wouldn't be surprised if Fox does indeed talk to Marvel Studios about a fourth movie, considering the phenomenal numbers the third installment has already brought in. We'll keep you updated on the spin-offs and if there's any other developments.

The Wolverine movie is a sure thing, much like the comic series was. I don't know how well a Magneto movie would work. The story would be really great, but can they find an actor that can play a young Ian McKellen? I don't think that any of these movies would have been half as good as they are without him. McKellen nailed Magneto perfectly. I am afraid that no one else would be able to live up to that.

We saw it last night. I thought it was good, though X2 is still my favorite...pretty much all of the points that have been posted already.

It did have the Superman trailer, along with Ghost Rider, F&F Tokyo Drift, and My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Well, three out of the four looked good Smile
