Niether of these is related to Batman, but that is why we have an Everything Else forum.

Tonight Joe Quesada, Editor and Chief of Marvel Comics, will be the guest on the Colbert Report. That will be on at 11:30 pm eastern on Comedy Central.

Also Who Wants to be a Superhero premieres on the Sci-Fi channel at 9:00 pm eastern.

Both should be a lot of fun.

I love Cobert and I'll definitely catch that. Just last night's episode (showing again tonight at 8:30 EST), he closed the show by talking about the new DC Comics stamps and complaining that Captain America should have one.

I've been wanting to see Who Wants to be a Superhero. I just hope it doesn't end up making comic characters look stupid to the mainstream. But with Stan Lee on board, I'm not terribly worried.

My wife and mom have even gotten into Who Wants to be a Superhero. I really get a kick out of people doing superhero type stuff in a reality show. The best thing is that this contest requires that people act good and help each other out as opposed to all the backstabbing that happens in the other reality shows that I watch. The finale should be the next episode on Thursday (8-31).

Most than likely Feedback will win, he has really won over Stan Lee.

There's going to be an all day marathon thursday for anyone who missed it.

My mom's been watching it, too, but she mostly makes crap out of it to me. She doesn't seem to realize that that bugs me. :| A part of the show seems to alienate real comic book fans and have dorks like my mom taking it all as a joke, but at the same time, the show's irresistably funny and a lot more entertaining than most reality shows. Not that I really watch any reality shows...

YAY!! I'm so happy Feedback won!!!!!!! But when it got down to him and Fat Momma I knew he'd win. Sorry, but I really don't think a Fat Momma comic would sell.

That is what I had been saying for a while now. Fat Momma was a nice woman, but no one would buy the comic. The stunt stuff was really cool. I got a kick out of the teaser trailers that they showed before the announcement.

Has anyone heard of when the movie might air, or the comics will be released?

I missed a couple episodes and have been wanting to catch up. I'm glad Feedback won as he seemed like a true superhero fan and a great guy; I just wish he'd get rid of the silly slicked over hairdo. His costume is pretty cool, too, compared with everyone else's. He does seem to have a slouching problem though... :|

The show was funny and interesting, but some of the stints they made the contestants do were simply ridiculous. Fat Momma just had to brush the prisoner's hair out of her face three times while another woman had to sit on her friggin' lap for ten seconds! They said early on that some stints aren't exactly what they seem (helping the lost little girl), so if that was me, I would've simply refused to do it and state that sitting on a prisoner's lap has nothing to do with being a hero. If that wouldn't make Stan appreciate me, I'd probably want to quit the show.

I've been wanting to catch that scene with Feedback talking to the prisoner the most. I was told about it but still haven't caught it yet.

The comic is coming out October 4. http://www.darkho...ku=14-295 I don't know when the movie comes out though.

Well that was Lemura's fault since she picked first. I sure wouldn't have done it!!!! Batman has never sat on the Joker's lap and Superman never sat on Lex Luthor's lap, so I wouldn't do it!! Lol

That was a great scene with Feedback and the prisoner!! He totally deserved to win. Some of the contestants were just people in costumes but Feedback made superheroes seem real.

I'm sure they'll replay all the episodes eventually. I'll let you know if I hear anything about it.
