Ok.. first of all, I'm not a big football fan. But today could be more imporant to Indianapoils than the Superbowl. (BTW, this site supports the Colts!)

So.. Whose going to win? I want to say Colts.. but they have a big feat in front of em. They always come up again the Patriots in the post saeason and never win. So will this year be different, we have the home field advantage..
Sop.. lets talk!

We do?
I'm pulling for New Orleans this year. They dealt with so much with Hurricane Katrina, rebuilding thier lives and playing on the road all season, so I hope they win today and beat New England in the Super Bowl.

I hope they do too because New England has won enough times already. However, New England has the Colt's pegged, just like the Jets have the Dolphins pegged.

First, I'd like to say I'm rooting for New Orleans.
Second, I'd like to say WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT SAN DIEGO! YOU PRACTICALLY GAVE IT AWAY! ARGHLE, FRAGLE, OOGABOOGA!
Sorry, I've been holding that in all week...

Well, I'll say the Colts, they rock. And I hope they avenge my team.

Yea.. looks like it's the Bears against ?
But I gotta say.. if the Colts lose, I want the Bears to win. I'm so tired of New England.. they are like the Bulls back in the 90's and the Lakers in the early 2000's..

I may upset a few folks, but I tend to pull against certain cities, as much as for and against certain teams. my LEAST favorite is New York City (any team, any sport), with LA right behind (too many times the arch-enemy of my favorite Atlanta team). Boston is right up there too (for a number of reasons, some of which have to do with friendships and animosity with ex-Beaneaters).
Likewise, there are certain teams I just like (such as the Packers and Redskins).
After that, my regional ties come into play.
So, I am pulling AGAINST the Patriots (thus for the Colts, though I have no pull either way on them).
I am also pro-Saints, as they are from the same division as my own two "home-town teams" (yeh, I know you can't have TWO hometown teams, but I feel BOTH the Falcons AND Panthers as "home" teams-> DISPITE them being BITTER rivals). Yet, I rooted AGAINST NO ALL season.
They lost, so its Bears Vs. whoever wins tonight. My SB loyalties will be:
I will be pro-Bears, is the Beaneaters win.
I will be split, if the Colts win.

I'm glad it's teams that don't get to the Super Bowl very much. It's nice to have somebody new in there for a change.

I kinda had a feeling that it was the Colts year. After their sucky performation last year.. They were un beaten until the last game before the playoffs.. then boom! They freak'n lose.
I really want to say they will go all the way, but I didn't think the Bears would get this far.. but at least we're there!

Ugh. My family isn't into football at all. People keep watching it during my lunchbreak at work, and for some reason, my dad asked last night if the Bears won. He doesn't even watch football...

They've spent plenty of time packed together in a stadium. They've got our sympathy and support, so it's about time someone put them over and allowed a form of retribution. Of course, I'm viewing this through the lens of professional wrestling, which it clearly isn't.

Sadly, as we all well know, The Saints have dropped yet another tough attempt to nail themselves into Super Bowl history...

THe only American team I'd even know (because I've got one of their shirts) is New York Rangers. They'd just won the Stanley (?) Cup when I was last there. So I support them!
I would say that's a bit harsh MacWage! But if I reeled off the English (not to mention the odd Scottish!) teams I dislike (often intensely), you'd probably ask me what my problem is!
So what is the picture all about Beyond? Is it you? Assuming this is the team "we" pull for (apart from Flabat, who went and did his own thing), it's a good pic! and a nice avatar to boot! |

As a sports fan, no I wouldn't. Schumi draws/drew INTENSE like and dislike. ANY sports team does too. In that I'm pretty hard to offend. I know a few who HATE the Braves (baseball) and Falcons (football) FAR more than I'd dislike ANY team (even the Yankees).
Back to topic . . .
After reflection,
GO COLTS!!!! Chicago has had enough Championships over the years:p.

CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Bears football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Lovie Smith immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again...
