I saw 'Falling Down' (directed by Schumacher) the other day and I really enjoyed it. All of the actors were great and I recommend it to anyone who like stories about psychological breakdowns.
My only problem with it was Schumacher's tendency for homo-eroticism throughout the film. We are quite often treated to shots of men's behinds and in one scene, a muscular man in a snug thong is seen standing in the background for no reason whatsoever. I think I read somewhere on this site that Schumacher made some other film that people really hate and that there's weird homo-eroticism in that too...
Anyway, I made this thread so we can discuss Schumacher's other films, because at the end of the day, he's not a bad director, he just didn't get Batman.
In the shadows I saw my destiny...
I would seek justice...
I would have my revenge...
I saw Falling Down shortly after it originally came out, and thought it was pretty good. I don't remember many specifics about it, but I remember thinking that Douglas did a great job in the role. I should pick it up sometime and watch it again.
