Glenn Ford, the durable Hollywood leading man of the 1940s and 1950s, died on 30 August 2006 in Los Angeles. He played in such memorable movies as Gilda, The Blackboard Jungle and Superman. A lot of us are going to miss him!

He had such a small part in Superman, but he did so well to convey to Clark about his destiny. It is too bad to hear that he died.
