The greatest adventure of all time begins with "Star Trek," the incredible story of a young crew's maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created: the U.S.S. Enterprise. On a journey filled with action, comedy and cosmic peril, the new recruits must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind.
The fate of the galaxy rests in the hands of bitter rivals. One, James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), is a delinquent, thrill-seeking Iowa farm boy. The other, Spock (Zachary Quinto), was raised in a logic-based society that rejects all emotion. As fiery instinct clashes with calm reason, their unlikely but powerful partnership is the only thing capable of leading their crew through unimaginable danger, boldly going where no one has gone before!

Star Trek was awesome! The best Star Trek film since Wrath Of Khan! New fans will love it and Trekkies will go nuts over the Easter Eggs in the film that pays homage to the original yet will boldy stand on its own. This is no doubt the beginning of a new series of new Star Trek adventures in the same way Batman Begins was to Batman.
I like the plot twist that allows the original series to stay as it was and gives this new series the ability to be it’s own without the need or desire to repeat or include things the original had. Having Nimoy as Spock help explain that twist as well as connect the new series to the past was cool as well. It was like when McCoy and Scotty appeared on Star Trek The Next Generation to help tie it in with the original series as well.
It’s been 40 years since anybody but the original actors played these iconic characters. I had concerns over seeing Kirk, Spock and the others played by new, younger actors but they really did an excellent job of casting, in particular Spock and McCoy, that it all comes together great. This is one of the best films of the year so far.

STAR TREK WAS AMAZING! I TOTALLY LOVED IT!
I have been a Trekkie for 3 years. I have watched episodes from Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. I have seen "Wraith of Khan" and "The Search for Spock", which I own both movies on DVD.
I am a big fan of Spock. I love Leonard Nimoy. And when I first watched my first episode of the Original Series, I was totally hooked. Not because of Shatnar or because of the genre but because of Leonard Nimoy! Spock is the reason I love Star Trek.
And, of course, I am a big fan of HEROES. And of, Sylar.
Zachary Quinto rocked my world as the Vulcan we know and love. He was just amazing as Spock. I kept my eyes on the screen every time he was on screen or he was talking. He was so believable as Spock. He did an outstanding job. Nobody could have done a better job. He was excellent!
When Quinto raised that eyebrow for the first time during the movie, I almost fell out of my seat. From the eyes, eyebrows, hair, pointy ears and the facial features, Quinto was just AWESOMELY AMAZINGLY HOT!!! The way he talked, his body language and the way he was...I was going out of my mind in excitement.
But let's not forget...Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy. I must say, the young doctor was only secondly adorable to Quinto's, Spock. Karl Urban did a fantastic job as Dr. McCoy. I couldn't have asked anybody else to make me laugh so hard. When I watched the old Star Trek TV series, I also loved DeForest Kelly. I could never really imagine anyone else playing Dr. McCoy. But Karl Urban really did the character justice as the younger version.
This is a MUST SEE MOVIE. GO SEE IT!! The acting is incredible, the special effects are amazing, the movie is BLOODY BRILLIANT. J.J. Abrams did a wonderful job on this movie!!! It's good to see...after all these years...The U.S.S. Enterprise back on it's feet.
LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!!
...And yes,...if you are wondering...I can do the Vulcan hand gesture!!

movie was so good!
i'm not familiar with star trek, but this made me want to get into it. hahaha. loved the characterizations of kirk and spock; the relationship they had kinda reminded me of cable and deadpool. so cool.
my favorite line by far: "are you out of your vulcan mind?" hahaha.
my favorite line by far: "are you out of your vulcan mind?" hahaha.
That and "You Green Blooded..." Are McCoy's favorite lines to say. The one thing I really loved about the movie is the fact that for Trekkies, it had alot of the old series in it. It paid homage to it very well. Then for people who had never seen any of the series, or movies, they can enjoy it just has much as the old timers.
