I preordered it a few months back, completely forgot about it, and was very surprised when it arrived here a few days ago. Haven't had a chance to watch any of them yet, though.
As for your question, I have no clue. If it had been related to the old minicomics or something I'd know, but I haven't seen most episodes of the old show since the mid-'80s. It was never hinted at in the new series, though.
I always thought Adam should've told his Dad, though. I mean, skeletor wants to kill Randor anyway, so what harm would it have done? Plus, it's not like anyone suspects He-Man has a secret ID, they just assume he's He-Man all the time. Revealing his secret to his dad would do no harm, and would save Adam buttloads of trouble. Plus, his dad wouldn't think he was a lazy sack of crap anymore, either.
