With all the talk about Christmas songs in the Shoutbox, I was thinking about all the types there are and my favorites.
I have always split Christmas music into four categories, The four categories being: Religious (Silent Night, Oh Holy Night), Secular (Silver Bells, The Christmas Song, Sleigh Ride), Novelty (!2 Pains of Christmas, Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer and any song that mentions Santa, Rudolph, or Frosty) and Christmas Pop (All I want for Christmas is you, anything by Trans-Siberian Orchestra)
My Favorites are:
Religious:
1) Oh Holy Night
2) Adeste Fidelis
3) Silent Night
Secular:
1) The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting...)
2) Sleigh Ride (instrumental)
3) Winter Wonderland
Novelty:
1) The Chipmunk Song
2) Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
3) Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Christmas Pop:
1) The Christmas Shoes
2) Jingle Bell Rock
3) Blue Christmas
Of course I like more than these but I just went with the top 3 in each list.

I really don't like X-Mas music.....I don't know why....I don't mind listening to it though...I just don't like it.

I can understand because if you hear the same songs over again it can drive you crazy...For example when I was in Eighth Grade, I was in my first year of Spanish and from Thanksgiving to Christmas Vacation the teacher played Feliz Navidad by Jose Feliciano every single solitary day before class...I got to the point when I hear it now I change the station
