It's summer & I know NOT everyone can jump on all at the same time & I know we have a chat room called The Iceberg Lounge but let's face it, we're all too busy to really have a great chat because we're all over the place & come on at different times.
BUT I'M GONNA LOOK OUT FOR ALL OF YOU GUYS! BECAUSE I'M GOOD LIKE THAT!!
So, here's a forum version of our chat room. So go ahead & come up with discussions. Comics/movies/TV/music/characters/random conversations...whatever you can think of. I know we have other forums for all that stuff but I was thinking of all the times we clog up the shout box & poor Chris has to ask us to use the forums because we've forgotten to keep the conversations limited.
So, I'm also helping Christ out by making this forum.
No thank yous are necessary!!
So here is my contribution to the site because of my LACK of being here. I hope all of you on BYTB are having a great summer & I look forward to talking to all of you soon!!

OK, I’ll play. I got Batman Arkham Asylum for the Xbox 360 when it came out. I beat it like 4 times. Now Batman Arkham Asylum Game Of The Year Edition is out and I beat it too. It has 3D which is cool but gets annoying after a couple days as it hurt my eyes. It also has four all new Challenge Maps which are cool too.
So how is 3D ever going to catch on if it hurts your eyes after a few hours?

HD is getting more affordable every year, so the TV companies need a new reason to get us to replace all our old LCDs and Plasmas with new, expensive TVs. 3D is the gimick that allows them to do that. And guess what, after you spend $1000-$6000 dollars on your new 3d optimized television, you need to get enough glasses for your family. And the TV only comes with one pair. I live in a 5 person household. If we want a 3D TV, we need to buy 4 pairs of glasses to go with it. Thats 400-800 dollars on glasses alone. I could get a high quality Plasma TV for less than that. Not to mention my sister has issues with depth perseption, so she can't see 3D through polarized glasses.
So, that's my cynical view of 3d.

Batman Arkam Asylum Game Of The Year is “Old School 3D” with the Red/Blue Lens cardboard “glasses”. It looks OK, but I got bored with it after two days. The game is still as great as it was before and the new Challenge Maps are cool too.

I don't know about 3D TV's. I'm a little iffy about everything going 3D. I don't want eye sight problems again. I got my eyes taken care of already when I was little.
But if we were talking 3D Pengy...now, I'd risk my eye sight for that! XD LOL!!!
WAIT...
even better! A virtual remote! when u hit the "ZOOM" button & whatever you hit comes out of the TV but is SOLID & live like & is LIFE-SIZE!
Nobody would ever leave me by myself EVER again XDD Lmao!!

Seriously? I didn't think anyone used those anymore. lol But that explains your eye trouble. These days, most theatres and 3d TVs use polarized glasses instead of the classic red/blue. It has almost no color difference between the two lenses so it's less likely to cause headaches.
Speaking of video games. Anyone pay attention to E3 this year? I'm really excited because Nintendo announced Donkey Kong Country Returns. I played the original Donkey Kong Country games (as well as DK64) religously when I was a child. Having a new installment coming out makes me feel like a child again. lol

dudes 3d glasses? when im at home playing a game or watchin a movie the last thing i want is to need to have on some stupid glasses to see things pop out at me it wasent cool when i was seven and its less cool now, I cant wait till this fad goes away. anyways my xbox360 got the red ring and i reserved the brand new 360 a week after it came out and here I am one week later with no xbox coming in. has anyone else had this problem?

I have an XBox 360 Elite which, they say don't get the Red Rings Of Death. Mine did but due to a local power failure when I was playing. I pulled the plug let it sit and rebooted and no further problem. Try that with yours, maybe it works.

ok so i did what ya said and it worked who woulda guessed lol thanks flabat now i got the old one and a brand new one which still hasent come in yet and its been 2 weeks im gettin mad about that thinkin bout crackin skulls with my old one till i get the new one that i paid for up front. lol anyways u guys should check out the music fourm and put up your fav songs like me!

FMC, Channel 258 (if you have Direct TV) showed the 1966 Batman TV Series movie earlier today (my time which is EST time in the US.)
Of course, a down pour of rain had to occur & the signal was lost for a few minutes & then I got to watch Burgess Meredith for a few minutes before the signal cut out again & then about a few minutes later it was fine.
I mean, I own the movie on DVD, so yeah, I can watch it whenever I want to. But today was my day off....& PENGY being on TV...it's a special thing for me to celebrate. XDD
