I couldn't tell you which came from the thrift store, but I am sorry to say that mine, that I got brand new, is not in as good shape as either of those. That is an awesome find. Congrats.

Excellent, Inzo. My local antique mall had the SPC Batmobile (missing bubble windshields and decals) with Batman and Robin figures (missing their capes) inside. But for $50, I knew I could get a complete version much cheaper elsewhere.
I found a Batmobile very similar to your Playart model at a flea market. As beat up as it was, the sticker read $6, so my mom switched it with one that fell on the floor that read $3. Normally, I don't partake in such an act, but the dealer was a withered old lady and probably didn't know the difference.

I have been lucky to find action figures that were missing from my collection...
I paid $2.89 for the Batmobile and $1.00 for the Playarts Batmobile...
Also the Batmobile on the upper left of your screen is the one from the
store...
Its like that old saying goes...
" Someone else's garbage... is someone else's treasure."
Your mom is cool...B)

Caleson, you're a very bad man!
However, coincidentally, I was in Wimbledon a couple of weeks ago and there was a toyshop and they had a pile of Corgi 2000 1/18th scale Batmobiles at ?12.99 a go! However, I noticed the bottom one had a ?3.99 sticker on it too! I carefully removed it (it was a bit like a giant version of that oriental game where you try to remove the bricks without it all toppling over), took to till hoping they'd charge the lower price, and they DID!
I got an rrp ?30 Batmobile for ?3.99!
I wanna get a Battle Damaged Mattel version. I saw one today in our biggest London comic shop, but couldnt be a***d to carry it home. |

That wall light looks great. As far as I can remember, I've never seen it before. And $2.89 is a hell of a price considering its about 23"x12". I checked eBay and saw two of them at $20 and $10, both with no bids. I'd love to get one someday.

I never really found out who made it... I assume you're referring to that big display behind your figures? That is really cool. I did some searches on eBay ("batman stand" and "batman display" but couldn't find it. Another item I'd be happy to own.

I'm going to have to see if I can pick up one of those lights. Postage to UK might be a bit pricey though.
You're the man for a bargain Inzo! |

That's it, Inzo. I've had it with your unspeakable bargains. You show up here with anymore of that nonsense and it's curtains for everyone.
...That's actually pretty cool. I don't own that particular Batcycle, but for 83 cents, there's no way I'd pass up. We used to have a second hand store in town and we still have the ol' antique mall, but I never found such great deals at them. Have to go out to flea markets, and those won't get going again 'till spring. It's still somewhat rare to find any item so relatively new at that price. Good find.

These next few pictures will show all the other items I have picked up
from my Friendly Neigborhood Thrift Store that started in January 2006...
All of the action figures I paid around $1.00 apiece and the Animate Batmobile
around $1.50... The Hot Wheels Monster Truck Batmobile was $5.00...
I also pick up some Marvel stuff for my Uncle Pete...
I also find every now and then some Star Wars stuff for my twin brother...

That really is incredible, Inzo. Those figures are all so new. Having a store like that around here would be a dream. Aside from adding to my collection, so many of those would be great for customizing or, if I had no use for them, selling on eBay (I guarentee you could put all those in a lot and make much more than what you paid). There must be a lot of local families getting rid of their kids' toys.
I know of your vehicles, but just out of curiousity, do you do much figure customizing? I mostly work on those, but do have an extra Batmobile I plan on redoing (the ridiculous, neon yellow model from Knight Force Ninjas). You've obviously got the perfect resources.
